Of foreign leagues, English is the most popular. We are easily the most popular side. Liverpool are next but there seenm to be a lot of 'lifelong' Arsenal fans emerging (funnily enough). Leeds are also popular because of Kewell and Viduka.
Lots of fans have no knowledge before the premiership. A lot don't believe United haven't been in the top flight forever. People often refer to us as 'Manchester'. I reckon it shows a lack of knowledge but it is a great way to insult City.</strong><hr></blockquote>
yeh here in melbourne afl is the best supported.
the only people i know who go to watch nsl(south melbourne)other than my self are people from my soccer club. Man Utd are easily the most popular epl team followed by arse, sheep scum, scoucers. i know one newcastle fan. also popular is serie a with tons of juve, milan, inter, and roma fans
