Which former United player do you dislike the most?

1. Owen

2. Ince (the hatred has calmed down a little over time)

3. Mark Hughes (one of my boy hood hero's , but his behaviour after he left was shocking).

4. Kanchelskis (loved him when he was a Utd, but I hated him for wanting to leave Utd and trying everything to do so). It's only now that I realise it was a matter of life and death. So I kind of forgive him.

How can you hate Fellaini, fair enough he was a massive reminder that the club had fallen to its knees, but he gave the club his all. He was massively limited and we are not a club that should be utilising his strengths, but he never did let the club down (other than not being able to control his elbows).

Well yeah there was the elbowing. He also liked to stamp on people occasionally and I think once spat on Aguero and got away with it. Tell take signs of an idiot.

Plus every time he was interviewed he came across to me as quite delusional.

1. Di Maria
2. Tevez
3. Lukaku

And Pogba, Lingard, Martial, who were annoying but I wouldn't say I dislike them.

Ronaldo is a weird one. He gave us so many great memories and I still find myself rooting for him, but his arrogance is unbearable at times.

How long he was here for moaned at being offered a derisory contract offer then went and ‘played’ for 120 grand a week less for another club. It has to be Pogba

Tevez. A great player to have on your side but seemed an all round arsehole. When he first came to United, he said he'd never forgive West Ham for trying to block his dream move. When he went to City, he stuck the boot into United, and said he'd love to return to West Ham some day. He pratted about at City towards the end, kept claiming he was homesick and eventually went home, via 2 years in Turin. These days he seems to show more love for United than City. He either wants to be enemies with everyone, or he's just an idiot. Maybe both.

I soured on Ronaldo during that final season with us the first time around. The strops and sulks were unbearable, and it felt like we'd gone from being a truly great team to just being the Ronaldo show. I sure didn't like that we kept singing his name for a long time after he left.

Sheringham be my number one, an awful awful human being. Definitely the player I dislike the most.

Lingard next just irritates the hell out of me acting like a spoilt toddler in the hood.

Diskliked Ronaldo ever since the Rooney incident at the World Cup.

Ruud another arrogant twat.

Peter Schemeical is just a petty petty little man.

If we're not counting off the field stuff then probably Sancho right now.

Unwilling to fight for his place in the team after the mildest of criticism. Just comes across like he has zero attachment to the club or the fans.

Didn't realise it had to be former player but he might be that soon enough.

Heinze
Di Maria
Tevez
Lukaku

Special mention to Greenwood and Sancho, who will be on the list when they leave.
It's not in my nature to hate ex players but there you go.

Has to be Ronaldo. Even if you wanted to ignore the horrible off pitch stuff, which I don't know why you would, hes still easily the most dislikable.

Moaning, whinging, petulant man child that shat on the club and used us for new contracts every chance he got. A guy that got a watch celebrating a goal against us, showed his six pack celebrating a goal against us and did a fecking interview with Piers fecking Morgan to entirely burn bridges with the club still has hordes of annoying fan boys celebrating everything he does, which makes him even more unbearable for me.

Can't wait until he fecks off for good.

Until reading this, I would have said no one.

The Summer of 1995 really made its mark on you.

I couldn't care less about him.

However I do get pissed off with the amount of hero worship he still receives from his annoying fanboys (especially the ones claiming to be United fans) when he clearly doesn't deserve it.
It's the ones who hate him that talk about him the most. So you're saying a person who does not dislike Ronaldo isn't a United Fan?

I don't get all the Fellaini hate on here. He was a limited player yes, but he gave his all always, don't recall a bad word from him and we even got a fee for him, so he didn't just sit on a huge contract like many others. He is way down my list of unliked former Reds.

None. I've even softened on di María since that water bottle incident at Old Trafford

Tevez understandably gets a lot of mentions, but he's still one of my favourite players ever. He actually speaks fondly of his time here and said "Scholes > Pirlo" having played with both not too long ago.

Yes Pogba, because there were more expectations on him than of the aforementioned others. He grew his football at the academy, he was touted as the next big thing. He then left to Juve and SAF was criticized for it.

When he signed for a record, it was like the prodigal son coming home, and then he ended up proving SAF right with his inconsistent performances, to the annual winter injury/holiday. Despite having all the talent in the world to do anything he wanted in midfield. Can you honestly say he could not have been Iniesta, Xavi and Busquets rolled into one if he worked for it, he has all their skillsets.

I don't disagree with anything you said, except that those things shouldn't make him the "most disliked" of all players that have ever put on the shirt considering some of the far worse players and humans that qualify.

The amount of Pogba shouts is just strange to me. We have so many more dislikable players (both for performances and just as a person). I’m not one to call racism… but I mean really? Pogba over someone like Di Maria/Sancho/Antony etc ?
He was a nuisance, despised him. Was delighted when he left. He feigned injury in Anfield after 10 minutes near the end of his United career. Pity as he had all the abiliy to be a great player for us.

Tbh, some of the usual suspects like Tevez and Heinze were loved by the fan base for most parts before their collapse for wanting to move to a rival. If I were to choose "disliked during parts of their stint" players, it'd probably be Pogba, Lingard, Henderson and Ronaldo v.2 (v.1 will always be loved as a legend by me) for how they seemed to lack respect for the club. All Rangnick end game players who would have been never signed or packed off quickly by SAF.

There is a concerning lack of Giggs in this thread. I mean, I can understand, as he is associated with so many good feelings and memories, but still he's turned out to be an absolute asshole.

Carlos Tevez, Angel Di Maria, Paul Ince, Robbie Savage (only an academy graduate here, but couldn't stand him as a player or as a 'character' / pundit).

There's no way I'm going to most hate the players that achieved so much for the club and brought me so much happiness during their career here. Though I can understand why most United haters would hate them for all they achieved with us.

If anything he was badly treated by a large section of our support. Could never question his professionalism and commitment.

Ince - without a doubt.

First of all - for the insane celebration when he scored against us - and even at Liverpool he apparently was a cocky, arrogant idiot. Then you could argue that .. well, so did Tevez. But at least Tevez kept a low profile after leaving football - but Ince pops up as a pundit being the same idiot he always was on the pitch

Ince is the only United-player where I have no positive memories - he was much worse than Tevez, di Maria and Ronaldo for me

George Best
Tevez
Giggs
Ince
Yorke
Di Maria
Hargreaves
Martial
Greenwood (hopefully soon to be ex Utd)

And that lad that went out of his way to get a move to Spurs but hasn't been seen since.

Ronaldo, Pogba, Tevez, Di Maria and Sancho will be joining them on the list soon.

Ezekiel Fryers. I had forgotten all about him. He was in the class of 2011 alongside Pogba, Lingard, Ravel Morrison (also a cnut), Larnell Cole, etc.
