Which attacker will we sign?

I'd go so far as to say that Grizzi won't be joining us at all - he'll be just another one of those players like Bale, Ronaldo (re-joining), etc, who is going to join us every Summer, but never does.
Grizzi loves his current club and it won't take much for him to be persuaded to stay at Atletico, long term.

I'm a huge fan of Griezmann and he's younger than Sanchez but Sanchez is PL proven and if we spend 25m and get Sanchez, it could be really smart business on our part. That way, we could also get Pulisic whose a similar player to Griezmann in a few years. The question is if Sanchez is willing to play on the right as a RW. If we do get Sanchez, Mourinho would perhaps move Mhiki to RW and play Sanchez behind Lukaku which may work but Mhiki is best behind a striker.

Yes, that's a problem. I want Mkhi to play behind the striker. He is just not the same player on the right. That's one of the main reasons I prefer Sanchez over Griezmann. Sanchez played RW for Barcelona and did pretty well.
 
Griezmann can play RW, just like what Mata does for us now, playing RW but moving infield centrally and wondering. Griezmann would be more effective than Mata imo and Valencia would continue to overlap. It's a lot of pace, a player with very good technique and a huge added goal threat!!

Happy with Rashford & Martial rotating down the left.
Happy with Mata & Mkhitaryan competing for the #10 role
Happy with Lukaku & Ibrahimovic taking up the striking role

Fill that #7 shirt with Griezmann, Sanchez or another top star..!
 
Sanchez and Pulisic and we would be set in terms of experience and youth. We need to also get a LB and a RB... I'm a huge proponent of Shaw and want him to succeed but he simply looked lethargic and stuck in 2nd gear when he came on. He had the opportunity to take on the oppositions full back but was bang average.

First game in ages the fact he was even running is a huge plus.

I do think Lemar might be the best fit with our squad, though Griezmann is the better player. Lemar plays in a 3 with France often and has played out left for Monaco in a 4 but as a left-footed and nimble player would presumably also be productive on the right, coming inside and looking to create for Lukaku and whichever of Martial/Rashford is on the left wing, pushed up high and looking to score goals. Let's say Rashford beats out Martial and Herrera beats out Fellaini to make it look clearer, but swap them if you like:

Basically, whenever Lingard plays and you think he gives us something different but it would be nice to have a better player doing that, that would be Lemar.

Yeah, you would think Sanchez might be a bit worse at RW as he gets older, but he'd also have a lot less defensive attention to deal with than at Arsenal.
 
I think our next attacking signing will be Griezmann and then Malcolm or Pulisic in 2019.
 
Only seen YouTube, but Malcolm doesn't look that special to me.

We would have signed him already if it were not for their transfer ban, everything was l set up for us to do so last summer.

It might happen this coming summer I think, a replacement in the squad for Ibra who will be leaving.
