Where do you see our club five years from now?

Nowhere. The board and management haven't a clue how to run a football club, in someway I think we're suffering karma for all the years of success SAF bought us. I can easily see us going 20+ years without seriously challenging for the league.

At the rate things are going with the hobbyist space projects, probably floating in a tin can. Far above the moon. Manchester is... oh no. And there’s nothing we can do.

Jonah will be gone (Deadwood Woodward) and the jinx will have lifted. We will have a competent manager and coaches and will have finally won the league, 2 FA cups and getting to Semis in Ch Lge.

It depends...

Will Pep/Klopp still be in the premier league ?

If the answer is yes, I don't like our chances of winning the title...

But hopefully we will have a proven top manager by then.

You have read the sports pages today? David Moyes at West Ham has just knocked Man City out of the Carabou Cup - the first manager to do so in over 5 years. That on the back of knocking out Man Utd. out of the same competition, just a few weeks ago (days after almost a draw between West Ham and Utd. had Noble not messed up a last minute penalty).

Moyes should have been given more time, it was wrong to put a top-4 minimum target into his contract because the 1st year or two after Sir Alex were always going to be tough, whomever was in charge. Moyes is certainly a better manager then Ole Solskjaer and if Utd. stick with the Norwegian, I'd bet West Ham would finish the league above Utd. as proof of that.
No Moyes was a disaster. He changed a multi winning backroom for an inexperienced one and took a title winning squad to 7th. He has improved since, but was totally out his depth back then.

Hm - a lot, or some, is depending on how the current manager situation is dealt with. Is it possible to have Ole or an interim manager in charge for the rest of the season so United can choose a long term alternative or do they have to go for the best availible now? The later seem to be Conte. Otherwise, and preferably - Pochettino, Potter, Ten Hag or likewise. At least the first two would still be around (remember Ten Hag sticking to his philosophy made him loose the CL semi final i.e. not flexible enough to challenge for the top of PL, the other two would.)

- If the first (Conte) United could challenge for the title next year, but would be in a new rebuild in five years. If the second they would be challenging for the title in five years (and either win it or possibly already have won one). City, Chelsea and possibly Newcastle will be up there too. Liverpool will be in a rebuild.

- United have a very good squad already with possiblities to develope and grow. Pogba wont be around, many of the others will. Cristiano not of course. Greenwood, Sancho, Rashford, AWB, Elanga, McTominay, Van de Beek, perhaps Henderson, perhaps Amad will be part of a steady squad. Fernandes and Varane could still give experience and class. United will have a proper DM, wich is almost for sure their next investment, but might still be in need for a second one. Maguire, though probably still there, won’t be captain anymore.

The board will still frustrate, but the club will be permanent in top 4 (or practically be promised a slot in Europes top competion in other ways) and close to the top. And win titles.

The club will probably be in a top 4 battle but I’m hoping our fanbase improves. It was sickening to see SAF getting abused because he backed Ole.
