when is fergie gona realise that Phil Neville is a liability to United? Time to sell

The timing of this thread is brilliant, just look at the reactions upto the 7th and then after the match, classic

like West Ham or Spurs.

have a nice day. ;)

YOu "feck off" you dull moron.

There are lots of people on here who don't think that PN is up to it, and most of the rest of the countrry's football fans.

No doubting he played well against Arsenal, but he has had plenty of poor/indifferent games.

And what have West Ham and Spurs got to do with anything?

You're comments have been shite for almost two years now.

But yes, you're probably correct about the Nevilles. They're shit. Get rid of them immediately. They don't deserve their place.

Unlucky.

You want to get rid of Gary do you?

From somebody who makes the most moronic posts on this forum, I really withered by your incisive observation.

dickhead.

i've seen you refer to gaz and phil nev as the 'neville sisters'

thats not a way for a supporter to act.. leave that shit for the ABUs

like i said, feck off and follow a london team...or one nearest to where you grew up..

you are a disgrace.

fans like you i hate.

and why do you support united, anyway?

What pissess me off, is some of the xenophobia, that seems to exist around here. The cockney reds get stick for being from london, foreign players get stick for not being english, its fecking ridiculous, we all support the same club and believe in the same cause. I don't give a feck if you live five mins from OT or 5000miles away, give a feck, every united fan is valid in his or her own right!!!

I'm a proud london red and i'll stand in the face of any fan from united or any other club for that matter that questions my support of my club. I proud to be from london and proud to be a red and if anyone has a problem with that well they can saddle up for all I care!!!

Cigar, when I posted I was not having a go at people from a regional point of view. Quite frankly I don't care where they come from if they support the team. I was having a go at the anti Neville sentiment (or anti Butt, Fortune or whoever happens to be flavour of the month). Slagging off or taking the piss out of your own team leaves us wide open to the ABUs. If it is constructive criticism I have no problem with it and I apologise if I offended you.

feck me, you really are thick arn't you. Ever thought that people might move?

Here's a clue: Went to school near Stockport. First game at OT in 1971.

Went to all but one of our home games at OT in our relegation season.

Left Manchester in the 80s, as had University and career, and a life (not something you seem to be aware of)

So you can stop trying to pretend that you have any more right to support United than anybody else, who knowsyou might make some coherent arguments.

One of the keys to being a good defender is concentration and consistency. To my mind, and many other people's PN does not have this. I've watched lots of FBs at Old Trafford: Parker, Albiston, Irwin and none of the claims for them being any good was ever to do with them coming from Bury.

Hardly any of our great players have been from Manchester: Edwards, Best, Charlton, Law, Cantona, Robson.

As for GN, I am not a great fan of his, but I do think he is more consistent than his brother and probably the best option we have at RB for the moment.

Get off your pseudo Manc high horse. It's totally boring. If you have never heard an OT fan call them the Neville sisters, you must never have been in the ground. I've heard lots worse in at OT from United fans to players, and I don't see you running round telling them off.

"You haven't got a life!"

That's a feature of Internet brawls isn't it?

TB: i doubt whether you've been to Manchester, let alone OT..

as for the Neville sisters.. i've never heard any United fan say it..

perhaps its a glory hunter thing?

Sounds like he's supported United longer than you and seen more games than you actually.

feck me. The Manc police.

Just for you, you deeply stupid person, I have got out my first programme from OT.

United Review: Feb 6th 1971 United vs Spurs. 1 shilling or 5 New Pence. Charlton, Best and Kidd played. Law didn't - though he was in the programme. Willy Morgan on the wing.

Digging though I find I went to a reserve game in Sept 6th 1976 against Huddersfield Town (I was saving tokens in case we got to Wembley, which we did the next year).

A frigging reserve game on a Monday night. A bus and two trains to get there. So obviously I'm a Glory Hunter. You idiot.

And when did you first visit the superstore at OT. 1992 by any chance?

What a suprise. You have no arguments to make at all. If you think I made that all up, you just embarass yourself.

Ludworth Primary School.
Marple Hall School.

You can drone on all you like, and make an even bigger fool of yourself.

So I must be a bit thick calling myself Travis Bickle 'after Beckhams (sic) haircut'.

Anyway, as for Philip Neville, a couple of people have it spot on - Dicko and Giggsgirl I think, he warrants a place in the squad, no question. I have been converted.

you've named a few schools around the Stockport area.

Right. So I made up a reserve team game against Huddersfield. Made up the schools I went to.

In the end, to my mind, it doesn't matter supporters live. But as somebody who went to all the home games in our relegation season (Stetford Paddock, not that you'd know where that is) listing to an arrivista like you (with a name like Giggsy we have a fair idea when you started supporting United) trying to tell me that I have to think that any player is good or I'm not a fan is utter bullshit.

Your argument is moronic. If people don't agree with you, they are not United fans. If they don't agree with you insult them.

So, can you tell me, what the feck would be the point of coming on a United site for two years, and posting if I supported anybody else? Why would anybody bother.

you can say that i've never been to manchester, or OT, it bothers me not, i don't give a flying feck if you think i started to support United in 99..

...coz i know the thruth, i don't need to explain myself..

where as you are trying to prove a point.

so taxi man, how did the neville sisters play yesterday?

i hope you've noticed that phillis has been very good this year bar the siddy game.

the bashing they've received over the past few seasons, were due to 'mistakes' they made playing for England....the english press, are quick to jump on anything anti-united.... overall Gaz, inparticular, has played well for united, and is more consistent then given credit... Phil has proved his worth, and i hope he stays, i think we need players like him, who are willing to sit on the bench, and give it their all, if called upon.

beckhams haircut.

Ahh, and here we hit upon a problem. You see Mr Bickle will claim likewise and then you reach stalemate.

Let's resolve this by concluding that you both should "get a life"

Read the thread before you try being a funny man.

ouch

Now, now, stop having a go at Travis.

Of course he's a red, and of course he's from Manchester (or Stockport), not that he thinks it matters.

And of course his name has nothing to do with Beck's haircut. Beckham came out with that wank, about a film he's too thick to understand (I'd imagine), long after Travis started posting on Redcafe.

Not that this matters.

All that matters in this context is that Travis has been one of the band wagon-hopping anti-Nevilles.... and not even he can pretend that they aren't playing well and deserving their place now, can you Travis?

Btw, TB, as for the "(sic)" business when quoting others' errors... I had a quick little read of your comments in this thread, and they aren't the most-error free contributions in the world. So i'd take it easy on that one, if I were you.
;)
