What would the CAF’s reaction be if we had signed Marmoush?

Given that a lot of posters can’t see it with Gyokeres who is having a similar run (1 stand out season and continuing it into the next) in a lesser league (& I know German league is better but look at Kolo Muani at PSG, who also had a great season at Frankfurt before moving on) - What would the reaction be if we had signed Marmoush instead?

Reason I ask is he’s joined a strong side in City to obviously challenge Haaland for the striker role, so they must feel he’s ready. Would it be any different for us?
