What current players would you have as next season's starting 11?

Some of the current squad are good enough as squad players though e.g. Blind, Rojo, Jones, BFS, Martial*, Memphis, Herrera, Mata, Rooney (but too expensive / big ego for a squad role)

* Edit: I know some will throw their hands up in horror that I didn't include Martial in the first XI - it's not that I don't rate him (I think he is an excellent player / prospect) just that at his age I don't think we should plan for him to be an "every game" player, we could burn him out / put too much pressure on him. That's not to say he wouldn't get loads of games anyway - with our injury record he'd still probably end up playing most games!

Luke Shaw is the same age.
 
I genuinely feel as I'd we are only missing a few players we don't need to let many go.

Fellaini can go but apart from him and maybe Jones due to his injury proneness we shouldn't be looking to sell anyone else.

We need to bring in at least 3 and probably 4 or even 5.

On the shopping list ..

Right winger
Striker of first team quality
Central midfielder to cover the loss of Fellaini
Full back
Central defender

I think we are crying out in all those positions. Tbh I'd also like to see Pereira step up instead of buying another central midfielder but van gaal dissent seem to trust him. Like wise lingard should be getting games but I feel we also need to buy a winger.

There isn't allot missing from the side but we definitely need a few key players

I know but I don't see a massive problem with relying on Martial as first choice. Now obviously he should be given more rests than he is getting this season but he is good enough to lead our line. I am not sure that signing someone like Kane for silly money is the right way to go and shifting Martial out to the wing when he has said he wants to play through the middle.

Yeah true. I just think that we are covered OK at left back with Blind and Rojo so Shaw can be rested as needed. At striker I think we need a top class one in their prime, with Martial allowed to develop naturally both at striker and on the left.

Andreas and Jesse about somewhere, not starting 11 though. Feel Herrera is sometimes better as a CM than a 10, hence question mark. Need to see how Shaw gets on with his recovery. Feels weird leaving Mata out, bad as he has been, he could be an option as a 10. Martial's too young to be playing so much, just too good not to be included unfortunately.

Most are obvious.

Rooney will be an excellent squad player and will still get many starts because he can play in a front 3 or fill in in midfield.

Valencia, Young and Blind squad players too. Oh and Phil Jones.

We need some serious quality on the right and at striker.
