To be fair the Offspring are one of my favourite bands but its clear their new album is nowhere near as good as the two you mentioned. Now Smash on the other hand might be in with a shout. But that was when they peaked in my opinion. They've never really been punk since they left Epitaph. Which is fine as I think Dexter and Greg wanted to take them in a more rocky direction anyway, as you don't leave Epitaph to become more punk. Well you know, unless you're signing for someone like combat records or summit, which they didn't.
Smash was good, but after that it's been going downhill. When are you going to create the punk thread?

Well yeah I agree, but thats because they were more punk and less rock which is what I prefer. As I said I think The Offspring wanted a more mainstream rock sound which is why the left Epitaph and signed for Columbia. I know a lot of people who prefer their newer stuff like Conspiracy of One etc to Ignition etc.
I'll create it when we get more than a handful of people who would actually be interest in it..so in about 8 years then

I'm from Norway but I'm a big fan of Refused. Haven't heard anything about a new TINC album. Would be good to get something new from Dennis & the boys though.
