Music What are we listening to?

This absolute masterpiece of a song and performance, with prime Chris Cornell absolutely crushing it (with Eddie Vedder sitting in the shadows doing backing vocals.)

A metal song dedicated to our love of Dogs!!

I don't know if anyone has posted any songs of Bloodywood. I randomly discovered them on YouTube and now I can't stop listening.

Amazing for a Metal band from India. They call the genre Indian Street Metal!!

Theyy played at Wacken before Covid happened and have got a YouTube documentary called "Raj against the machine" which is a great watch.

The Craig Charles show on 6 music is fecking rocking tonight. Coupled with the pina coladas we’re knocking back …
Indifferent towards Charles as a person but he always puts on a good show on 6music.
Shame about Shaun Keaveny leaving though.

Oh yeah, from what I’ve read I’ve always assumed he’s a bit of a cnut. He knows his music though and tonight, someone called DJ Tron did a 30 minute mix and it was amazing. On podcast and worth a listen … if you like that sort of thing.

I'll try to find time and give it a listen.

First single I ever bought:

Just bought this on orange splash vinyl, after listening to it on spotify only for a few years I'd forgotten just how good an album this is.

Had no idea T-Pain could actually sing. All of his classics sound like completely different songs in this.

Overproduced video (almost 8 mins for a 4 mins song) but absolutely banging track from a special artist lost too young.

Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds.
Nature Boy.

I was just a boy when I sat down
To watch the news on TV
I saw some ordinary slaughter
I saw some routine atrocity
My father said, don't look away
You got to be strong, you got to be bold, now
He said, that in the end it is beauty
That is going to save the world, now
And she moves among the sparrows
And she floats upon the breeze
She moves among the flowers
She moves something deep inside of me
