What any three signings would you make for United this summer?

If we are only allowed three signings:
de Gea - Contract
Hummels
Clyne
 
Neymar (future best player in the world)
Thiago (because of people on redcafe raving)
Varane
 
So many people going for Pogba and barely anyone for Neymar.

Is the caf well today?
 
Xhaka
Laporte
De Gea or swap him with ter Stegen

Rather see him at Barcelona than Madrid.
 
Realistically I am pretty certain Pogba and Bale won't be coming...Bale may come a year down the road.. but for this summer we need at least 4

1. Gundogan
2. Lacazette
3. Clyne
4. Hummels

It is all about squad balance and managerial philosophy. I Personal find it hard to find any quality young upcoming right back than has tons of work ethic and great pace for the consistent overlapping outlet needed as a right back. Nevertheless, relooking at it, maybe I should have went for Clyne instead.

I definitely appreciate the idea behind it. Full backs are pretty vital these days. Was just an obscure choice. :-)

Interestingly, it made me look him up again and reminded me he actually plays for Tottenham. A massive one appearance too.

Yes. He scores some nice goals but his overall play and decision making is still yet to be proven. Sure, he's a special talent but putting him amongst three dream signings is ridiculous.

Some people have no sense of pride, signing him would make us look like complete fools. When you value trophies over pride and tradition, that's when you start supporting Chelsea or Real.

Mark Hughes, 2nd time we signed him we paid a then record fee....... Dont be a drama queen, thats the bigger laughing stock

Can't make my mind up about the last one. Depends on what happens with Nani and/or Di Maria, weirdly enough.

How did it work out when Chelsea resigned Matic?

Koke
Varane

We'd have a brilliant midfield trio of Herrera and Koke in front of Verrati dominating teams for the next 6-8 seasons.

Shaw-Varane-Smalling is 3/4 of a great, young defense and we'll find a RB somewhere. Nobody blows me away it felt wrong to take Carvajal over Varane.
