WFA Cup FINAL | United v Chelsea - 2:30 - Sun 14 May

What I’m surprised about is the lack of time in checking (if they even did?) that. If it was outside then it was outside, but no replays from different angles and no evidence of them checking it…

So we get screwed for pens in the womens game too then… sigh

It’s sad because in the league game against Chelsea we lost 1-0 and we had 2 penalties that should have been given which were denied. If we had a draw that day we probably win the league

Check was to quick for it to be done properly.

Hope our ladies have the same energy for the 2nd half. They worked bloody hard I the first,

Indeed

Come on ladies!

It's looking so like the WSL match at the moment. Really frustrating stuff to see. We really need a goal here.

Ahhh not sure she should have taken the shot from there

Oh what a waste there

Chelsea look dead on their feet. This is a weird game to watch. It’s like they have zero energy to even track basic runs.

we got away with that one...

No matter what happens in the end, I’m so proud of how we’ve played against one of the best teams in Europe.

Happy that the coaching staff decided to keep Russo on the pitch as opposed to the usual Williams-on-for-Russo sub.

They look like underdogs trying to get something on the break

Exactly. And you can say as much as you want, quite righly, about them being poor but this has at least as much to do with how strong we’ve been.

Oh my goodness... thought they would score then :nervous:

Despite a couple of the Chelsea chances this half coming from our mistakes, we’ve ended up defending the situations very well. Good recovery runs and tackles.
