WFA Cup Final 24 | United v Spurs | FA CUP WINNERS!

United website has sold out for now, the message:

"Tickets were on sale to 2023/24 and 2024/25 MU Women Season Ticket holders, Men's Season Ticket Holders, Executive Club Members, 2023/24 and 2024/25 United Members but are now sold out. There will be a final release of tickets at 10am on Friday 3rd May. Each attendee will require their own United Membership or Season Ticket, all tickets are sold at a ratio of one ticket per membership or season ticket."

Not quite sure what the "final release" thing means in this context. For OT matches it usually refers to returns and unsold hospitality or travel package tickets etc.

I'm also not sure what's happening in terms of the FA doing resales from tickets that are returned to them. There will certainly be some around but I don't know if there's an official route to get them.

So if anyone discovers more, please remember to post it here!

Quick question, someone might know or have experience - can we still get in after kick off? Turns out my daughter has a ballet exam that morning, and we might end up getting there around 2, but if we hit any traffic…a bit later! Fingers crossed it will be fine on a Sunday, but just in case. Ta

Yes.

By the way, you can buy tickets now instead of waiting until Friday.

If you go on the Women's Away Ticket page there's currently no 'buy' button but you can bypass that by going directly to the hallmap (https://tickets.manutd.com/en-GB/ev...women/2024-5-12_14.30/wembley stadium?hallmap) and there are tickets loaded up you can buy. I haven't bought any myself but I can get as far as putting in my card details.

Interesting. Thanks for the link.

I've just tried the link but having got through the opening countdown screen to join the queue I ended up in a, "The sale hasn't yet commenced" page.

I don't know if that means they opened it temporarily by accident or they are opening it as clusters of tickets become available. Certainly worth a try before the official opening for anyone who is currently looking though.

It might be that you need to be logged in.

I think you're right. Great stuff, thanks for that. I'll edit the thread title.

Not many tickets available, mostly singles in T3 but there are also the odd pair/treble up there as well at the moment.

Not quite sure what's happened to this morning's official final release of tickets and sale. I'm being lobbed into a queue for tickets for United v Arsenal which hasn't opened yet. Other posters may see something different.

United ticket website reporting that tickets are now sold out. If that changes please post in here and I'll change the heading again.

Three single tickets left last night.
Obviously hope we win the cup, take it to OT to show off then stuff Chelsea in front of 30 000.
Asking too much?

I almost don't mind if we lose to Chelsea at OT, as long as we win the cup and they are potless! It'd feel very sweet parading the trophy in front of the all conquering Emma Hayes Chelsea who have won nothing!

I'd take losses today and Chelsea in return for winning the cup

I got tickets this morning. Just kept refreshing ticket page and 2x just popped up which I nabbed.

TV broadcasters:
BBC1 and BBC online for the UK
Via Play in most Scandinavian countries
FA Player in most other countries

MUTV Will have a pre-match show and they'll do live radio coverage of the game.

Any more that people know about?

‘Manchester United are not a top three team anymore,' expressed Robert Vilahamn in his pre-match press conference today.

His Tottenham side will face the Red Devils at Wembley on Sunday in the Adobe Women’s FA Cup final, and the 41-year-old is confident that his Spurs side can compete’.

Any extra motivation is welcome, so thanks even if its true!

Interview with Rachel Williams in the Athletic:
https://theathletic.com/5479845/202...nited-fa-cup-final?source=user-shared-article
The now 36-year-old striker was playing for Birmingham City in 2012 in front of 8,723 fans at Ashton Gate in Bristol. This weekend, she will be part of United’s squad at a sold-out Wembley — more than 10 times that initial attendance.

She scored a last minute equaliser in that final (against Chelsea) that took it to extra time. Birmingham won the penalty shootout (though Rachel missed hers!) to take home the WFA Cup.

A new Chelsea poster has been in touch with me on here to say they have two hospitality tickets available for Sunday's Women's FA Cup final.

They've had problems posting their message so I'm doing it for them:

@anddyyybbbbb says
2 x gold hospitality tickets, front row seats together block 144 right next to dugouts . Bobby Moore room all food and drink included. Padded seats admission up to 3 hours before kick off - e-tickets in hand.

They've given me a contact phone number but I won't include that in this public post. So please contact them initially over direct message.

Please remember that neither I nor the site can give any guarantees on ticket transfers between members so you have to satisfy yourself about the tickets and the seller. In no circumstances should a ticket should be offered above face value.

According to yesterday's press conference, no new injuries. So hopefully that means Rivière is available to start.

My daughter and her partner bought tickets for this a few months ago not knowing that United would reach the final so hopefully her luck will continue tomorrow.

Starting Hayley Ladd is an absolute must for me. We have lost our way lately. Whatever Skinner has tried with Naalsund, Geyse or Malard has not really worked so, back to basics:

Earps

Riviere
LeTissier
Turner
Blundell

Zelem
Ladd

Toone

Garcia
Parris
Galton

Plenty of game-changers on the bench.

I get your point with Ladd, but Naalsund has started almost all the games for a long while. I doubt if Skinner is prepared to change around in a final. If so, maybe to give matchwinning Rachel Williams a start ahead of a goal dry Parris?

Given that no one has really stepped up to claim a final spot in past few weeks, I would go with the team who beat Chelsea

Maybe throw in Rivière if she's fit

Considering the BBC are showing this and it's hours away, you'd never know it's happening from looking at the site.
