Darmian has been very poor, and I would love to see Young on, since he will stretch the game down our left. Carrick can do what he does best now, and we need to start making in runs into the box and up the tempo. They're too compact, and we're playing to their pace, which is very visibly pissing Mourinho off. I expect to see Martial soon in place of Lingard.

West Ham are defending deep with 9 men so I'm looking forward to Ibrahimovic and Pogba being more of a physical presence in the attacking third , we're getting bullied every time we have tried to play it through the middle.

We do need to spread the pitch however. Not sure Martial coming on for Lingard would unlock this as Martial doesn't like hugging the touchline.

Still, there is no excuse for Lingard and Valencia's misses.
