They published it 3 days ago. It has since been denied by everyone, including Mancini who says Sneijder is not a target.
If Sneijder goes to City, at a press conference, we'll hear from him, that saying 'Manchester' he meant City, because all the fans in Manchester support City...
If sneijder makes a transfer request he risks losing out on 7million. (it's in the contract he signed last year) He knows inter need the money - both to make up for the losses and also to reduce their enormous wage bill (which if m not wrong hovers around 100 % of their turnover).
So he s waiting for them to make the first move knowing that time is not on their side. He is risking much less than inter.
If he is not transferred, worst thing that could happen to him is to stay at inter for another year enjoying earning a bumper pay. On the other hand, selling sneijder is crucial for inter's finances.

RAFAEL VAN DER VAART admits Holland team-mate Wesley Sneijder is keen to play in the Premier League.
Manchester United have not given up hope of agreeing a deal for Inter Milan midfielder Sneijder before the transfer window closes.
And Van der Vaart, who lined up alongside Sneijder at Ajax and Real Madrid, has confirmed his good friend is interested in moving to England.
The Tottenham star said: "Of course he would like to play here, it's the biggest league in the world.
"He is a good friend of mine and we have contact almost every day. He knows what to expect in the Premier League."
Van der Vaart also claims United will be in pole position to reclaim the title if they land Sneijder.
Asked whether he would be playing against his fellow Dutchman this season, he replied: "I hope not because Man Utd are going to be stronger.
"But he's a great player and he fits in well at Man Utd."

Most probably both of them are guessing. Imo they both know that sneijder will leave inter and when he does so he ll end up in manchester. So they basically know they have a 50 % chance of getting it right - which is much higher than the percentage chances of most of the transfer gossip

They won't get Nasri I'd say....he's going to be cup tied for the CL.
I seriously can't see why he would sign for City other than the money, unless he has to leave Inter and there is nowhere else to go. It's actually a big step down from Inter Milan. Regardless of City's money, they are a footnote in football history.

I have the nagging feeling too that he will end up at City. Inter by the looks of it want to flog him, city will do anything to usurp us and get our targets, not to forget that we're talking about a world class player who will suit their system rather nicely. They'll probably pay Inter more and pay Sneijder obscene wages to get this down. IF the reports of Inter's financial crisis stand true.
Sadly players don't sign to be a part of a clubs history, they sign to be a part of a clubs future and as hard as it is for us to admit it, it's almost inevitable they will have some form of success in the next few seasons.
I just hope to god that United can limit it.
