Ish
Lights on for Luke
It’s clearly Poch, according to a certain someone on here
Seriously, who is in charge for transfers there? No way it is Boehly.
Given the only other players that were here for his entire time were either ageing, had injury issues or both it would be pretty embarrassing if he wasn't top of those stats. That bloke they spent 105m on cause he had a good world cup? Just before Liverpool got McAllister for 35m
No I'm talking about the player who's played the most games for them, scored the most goals, got the most assists and created the most chances for the last 3 years.
Was him last summer, he's been in a glorified cheerleader in the last two.Seriously, who is in charge for transfers there? No way it is Boehly.

He was a very good player for us in his first two and a half years but best player is a massive stretch when you have Reece James and Thiago Silva.
Levi Colville?

That's fair enough but even if we use availability Silva is there. He's up there. I'd agree Reece James is ultimately a better player in his position but it depends how much weight you put on being reliably available.
2020 and 2021 that can defiently be argued (if we put availability into it then I would say three horse race between him, Silva and Edou) but from 2022 onwards Silva takes that mantle, in my opinion ofcourse.Mount was definitely the best performer over those 3 years, on that basis he has been the best player over the last 3 years. There have been more talented players in the team of course but Mount has been by far the most reliable in terms of fitness and performances.
He was one of the best for sure and I would hate if he rediscovers his best self at United but those stats are heavily manipulated for the reason I stated above.
yeah we should definitely follow Chelsea's business practices..

Glad to see I am not the only one thinking we need to sign Ampadu. He would be the perfect understudy for Case and they only want 12M.
I know you're being sarcastic, but we should look at what they're doing. The multi-club model, long contracts + lowish wages to retain value, tie ups with the Saudi investors -- all of these are really innovative. I expect these to either become standard practice or get killed due to regulation from UEFA.
I'm pretty sure Casemiro could teach him more.Dennis Wise could teach Casemiro a thing or two
This is rubbish tbh. How many players did Saudi sign from them? Two? Koulibaly and mendy? Ziyech deal didn't go through. And it's not like Saudi are buying only chelsea players.Helps when one of your main investors is a Saudi fund to be fair.
Malo Gusto would be walking into our first team. Enzo would clearly be pigeon holed in too.Reece James is the only one left who would be an automatic starter at Manchester United.

Now he would be an excellent signing, sort out the defence for a good few years as he learns under Varane Martinez and Lindelof...
We should put a £30m bid for him to test the water and see the effect.

It's a complete famine out there for high quality right backs and Gusto, a guy who has just turned 20 is already performing at an elite level in a top five league. Is going to be so good if injuries keep at bay and was the guy I had been hoping we signed before he signed on for Chelsea last year.Shows how many people Chelsea have signed that I genuinely had to look up someone who apparently would walk into the United first team.
It's more a top four. France is more like a Tier 2 League with Netherlands and Portugal. It's a complete famine out there for high quality right backs and Gusto, a guy who has just turned 20 is already performing at an elite level in a top five league. Nah, France is a much more physical league than those other two and scouts generally consider it a good league for talent to translate into the EPL. Gusto is far better attacking than AWB and much younger. His expected assists are far higher than his actual assists and this is usually down to the centre forwards he's crossing to making a mess of their chances. He's an exceptional crosser and his defence seems to have come on a lot this season. It's more a top four. France is more like a Tier 2 League with Netherlands and Portugal.
He's not all that (yet anyway). Creates about as much going forward as AWB (ie. not too much) whilst being much weaker defensively.
The only deal you tip your hat to them on is Havertz for 65m, but that has more to do with the buyer being deranged. Other than that, they’ve sold a bunch of players to one of their own investors - crooked as feck - and lost their best player and talisman to a rival for 55m.
They paid 65m for a literal Donkai. Chelsea got very lucky. The only deal you tip your hat to them on is Havertz for 65m, but that has more to do with the buyer being deranged. They've also been stockpiling some of the best youth talent in the world, guys like Kendry Paez, Andrey Santos and Cesare Casadei who have been the star players in the recent international youth tournaments they've been involved in, have other really good prospects in Datro Fofana, Madueke, Gusto, Nicolas Jackson. They've clearly overpaid for Mudryk but there's potential there and if there was one youngster in the league that you would bank on being world class in the future its Enzo Fernandes. James might be the only world class player now but give it two years and the complexion will be very different. Boehly is clearly insane but they've made some excellent acquisitions in addition to the turkeys and it looks like Saudi are going to help them wash away all the financial problems that were building up with those more foolish purchases. In July 2023, the only player in that team that is 'steal-worthy' is Reece James. He is the only world-class player remaining in the squad.
