I belive he'll come good. He's shown ability in patches, nothing spectacular mind, but potential.
The fantsatic goal he scored during the WC was no fluke, so it suggests he certainly has the talent.
It might be the different climate, the high tempo pace of english football that has thrown him off, but I'll wait at least till the end of the season before consigning him as a lost case.
As for "proven" players, well we thought we brought one in JSV, and in the grand scheme of things, he hasn't done much better than Diego!

Well doesn't he, and EVERY player that joins deserve the chance to become a "proven Manchester United player"?
