We have only one centre back who understands the basic principle of taking man or ball when breaking rank?

Would like to see Axel get a chance under Erik after xmas IF he can actually stay fit,yes I appreciate it's the cheap way out but would allow us a chance to see if we need to buy.

I was a head coach from U8 to U16. By about the U12 level, they are definitely hearing that you either get the ball or get the man. We teach them how to do it by getting their body between player and ball, chipping away, but not things that amount to dirty play like shirt-pulling.
