It's sad how much bitterness and anger there is towards a United legend on here. Guess if he'd just left like our Portugese legend, he'd still be adored on here.

Up his wage to 500k with the stipulation that he needs to be permanently 'injured'.
Typical Arsenal fan, only knows one song.Piers' response to this will be quite funny I imagine.
Edit: It wasn't He's just on full Wenger bashing mode
Simply cannot be allowed to walk back into the team.
Piers Morgan said:My phone rang at 11pm tonight. It was England football captain Wayne Rooney.
He wanted to discuss his forthcoming Manchester United testimonial plans this summer.
But we also talked about reports in the papers this week that he’s been offered ridiculous sums of money to go and play in China for Shanghai, a team managed by Sven-Göran Eriksson.
‘It’s true,’ he said.
‘How big a salary are we talking?’
Rooney chuckled.
‘Come on,’ I prodded, ‘make me sick.’
He then revealed a figure, based on a three-year deal, so stupendously, stratospherically gigantic that it did indeed make me feel instantly nauseous. (Without giving too much away, let’s just say it included eight noughts...) I literally gasped in horror, prompting him to add a final killer blow: ‘After tax!’
‘There’s another advantage I can see,’ I said.
‘What’s that?’
‘The Chinese fans won’t realise how slow you’ve got.’
‘**** off!’
My guess is Rooney won’t leave United for another year or two. But one thing’s for sure, the Chinese are coming for world football and as with everything they do in business, they seem to have almost limitless sums of cash with which to dominate it.
Aye we can help him decide, a repeat of the first half of the season under Mourinho could see him dropped and getting 'angry and confused' real quick and instructing his agent to book him on the first flight out to Shanghai.I can see him considering the China move, he knows he's coming near the end of his playing career soon and this could be a big windfall to tie him over.
Hopefully Piers Morgan isn't going to play in the testimonial.
I'd quite like to see Phil Jones 'tackle' Piers Morgan.I can see him considering the China move, he knows he's coming near the end of his playing career soon and this could be a big windfall to tie him over.
Hopefully Piers Morgan isn't going to play in the testimonial.
he would get injured thoughI'd quite like to see Phil Jones 'tackle' Piers Morgan.
We would be SERIOUSLY DELUDED not to consider any offer!
wonder if he will have to go through the 40 days and 40 nights of match rhythm all the other players have to get back in
Come'on Steve. You're funny enough as it is, without having to resort to this sort of cheap attention seeking.Thought this was an interesting read:
