Was there a downtime just now?

Having the same issue, it keeps trying to pick up 3-4 domains. Based on zero IT knowledge and general fecking around I would bet my left nut it is linked to the ads.

1. It is always 3-4 addresses it keeps trying (one having ads in it).
2. Most pages stop loading altogether after putting 2-3 things up and precisely when an ad should load.
3. The threads load but don't have any ads in them (presumably the ads on threads don't interfere with the rest loading up).
4. This reply to thread screen loads up quick and easy and, surprise surprise, doesn't have ads to load.

Good to see I'm not the only one, my alternative theory was some nasty browser helper option thingie.

Was having the same problem again today, I just installed adblock on firefox and all is fine now.

Cheers guys, adblock does indeed work.

Would still suggest Niall looks into it as it is probably not good financially to have every user running adblock (again, I know sweet FA about this stuff but it makes sense to me that it would result in less revenue from ads if no one can see them).

I'm having this issue at home too. Sometimes Malware Bytes blocks a page in the loading process. Strange.

Seems to actually just be my iPad, iPhone is fine

This is how much loads on forum page

I have issues with Safari on my mac as well, I'm not best pleased.

It's the exact same problem. In Mozilla AdBlock fixes it, surely Safari has something similar?

Still takes ages to load even though I downloaded the ad blocker. Explorer and Chrome don't work better either.

As I just posted in the 'Welcome to RedCafe.net on XenForo!' topic, I'm looking into the issue with ad code slowing things down. Will hopefully have it resolved in the next couple of days.

Cheers Niall, good to hear

I've tweaked the ad code - are people still having issues?

It wasn't working on my mobile but now it does. I disabled ADBlock on my laptop's Mozilla and it's all fine. Seems sorted.

Everything is back to normal here. It even feels faster, but that must be a result of the recent slowdown.
