Viva Garnacho!

Think he'll be a regular starter soon

Imagine if Antony improves and Sancho returns firing on all cylinders. Would be great depth in attack (other than having a striker)

Lovely. After Martial went off we lost something with Rashford seeming labored and Antony poor. Garnacho showed up when we needed him

When he came on everyone knew he was going past whoever happened to be in his area!

The lad is a joy to watch!

Could legitimately be our new number seven after the end of next season

Great value for £420k. I hope the club keeps his feet on the ground now. If Woodward was running things, he’d be throwing £125k a week contract at him, resulting in Garnacho resting on his laurels.

That turn was magical.
And the cross completely perfect.
Well done son!!!!!

we need to get him tied down contract wise if he is not already

Turned the game today. That fearlessness of youth and being unshackled with the ghosts of the past.

City would be hurting after that loss, and it is so much down to his +vity on the pitch

Reminds me so much of Ronaldo in that first season at united. When he fills out and the power comes he’ll be a hell of a player for us.

Garnacho reminds me of a young Welsh lad who played down the left. Might be too far back for some of you.

Ryan something or other I think his name was…. :)

....I maybe missheard, did the Stretford end sing Viva Garnacho?

Ronaldo overwritten?

Hope we remember all these comments when he hits his inevitable 2nd season syndrome. We all said similar things about Elanga when he was first introduced to the 1st team.

All kids will be inconsistent and will undergo a massive dip early in their careers even Giggs. Its our memories that seem to forget their dips and remember them having basically an upward trajectory.

Garnacho is different, he's genuine quality.

Yeah he reminds me of Ryan Speed as well

More like Stanley Mathews I thought.

He's new to the league. By the 2nd season, defenders will have worked him out.

The question is whether he can add more to his locker than sheer aggression, speed and cutting in. Personally, I think Giggs was a more difficult player to defend against even at the start of his 1st team career due to his body faints, tight turns etc than Garnacho. And Giggs had his dips in form ie lacked consistency -- partly due to his hamstring problems at the start.
But let's hope Garnacho doesn't get complacent and starts to add more to his bag of tricks.

Agreed. I know there's nothing we love more than an academy player making an instant impact at United, but some of the hyperbole is going to get out of control (if it hasn't already). Hope he can continue improving and providing sparks, as this is fantastic for his development currently.
