Yeah, but he's fighting for a living. No one criticizes boxers etc for being wimps. Players like Kompany are giving modern football a good name.
Also, being a defender, Kompany probably headed the ball several times during those 60 minutes. That must have hurt like a bitch, seeing as he also had a concussion and a broken nose to care about.
