He's tosswank, it's a mystery how they haven't replaced him with a better goalkeeper. Somebody like Diego Lopez from Villarreal wouldn't be much more reliable than Victor Valdes?

Exactly who I said earlier, I think he's a very reliable keeper.

Didn't exactly cover himself in glory today with the goal he let in though. Cracking strike, but he could've done better with it.

I agree, he could have done much better. I also think he made a mistake in saving that other shot by Karagounis in the first half, he parried the ball but went beyond the goal line. Luckily for him the lineman didn't realize it.
