The most important bit out of this is that Ornstein is saying we have a roughly £100 transfer budget to buy Cunha and Delap (that's assuming the fees quoted for both are accurate), without needing to sell. If true, selling Rashford, Sancho, Antony, Shaw, and the removal of Eriksen and Lindelof's wages off the books could result in a pretty big summer.

Did Ornstein say anything about Shaw? Missed it if so, but generally just think we keep him in the squad next season and if he's fit, great.
No I added Shaw. He's 29 and if we need cash, now is the time to sell - while he's actually fit and not too old to get a decent fee.

£100m before sales is far better than I expected. We could easily clear another £80m in sales of players out on loan. And I still have a feeling Garnacho may go to be replaced by Cunha.

Everyone assumes every player is dying to play for Manchester United. Osimehn had a HUGE offer from the Saudis during the summer. Delap and Gyokeres will probably have not only better financial offers, better teams will pursue them.
They say what doesn’t kill you makes you strong, but in the case of Shaw, what doesn’t kill him only makes him available for two seven minute cameos a season.
Can stomach him going to Saudi, however will be sick to my guts if he ends up in Premier League. No way do I allow myself to contemplate sticking with Hojlund this early in the summer.

Is our stock really that low that we couldn't attract him if we win the Europa and qualify for CL? We have managerial connection advantage and frankly, as bad as we are, we still win more trophies than Arsenal (hoping Arsenal don't win CL this year to silence us all).
