Osimhen made it clear he didnt want to stay at Napoli. There was an agreement he could leave in the summer if he extended his contract.
Would have been perfect for us.
His strike partner will be Morata. Very good strike force at Galatasaray. Better than ours by a mile

If you mean last summer, cost and salary. Allegedly he wanted 400k a week. That’s also why Chelsea decided to not pursue him any longer. Then when he fell out with the owner of Napoli he couldn’t stay there but most windows had now closed hence why it was Gala on loan or nothing

Hojlund was signed the year before, we signed Zirkzee this summer a month or so before Osimhen left Napoli. It has been fairly well reported before but Napoli initially were looking for a pretty significant fee and only reduced their ask towards the end of the window when they had no takers, most clubs including us had already done their business by then although Chelsea met the lower price but the deal broke down over Osimhen refusing to take a contract on Chelsea's wage scale. His representatives had supposedly negotiated a much fatter contract to move to the Saudi Pro League but the transfer fee to Napoli was not high enough so that was rejected. Once the European window closed he ran out of options and so is on loan in Turkey for the year and hoping for a big move this summer.

There's something scary about Osimhen that I like.
He looks very egotistical fierce which we may be useful as our front line striker.
Also even if his main way of finishing is his aerial ability - it kind of gives the team an idea in what must be done in the final third to score a goal aka chip it in to the box and let osimhen deal with it.

Can see Chelsea and Arsenal in the mix for him this summer. Honestly it's hard to pick between him and Gyokeres for me. I'm leaning towards the latter because I think we can strike a better deal and the manager's connection with the player.
