So couple in Primera and couple in CL can't be 10 games?

It's so funny how you're trying to spin this around.

I've said because of his age and inexperience I'd opt for Jones but like i said you just read what you would want to read and not what's written.

Go ahead, amuse me even more
Seriously? No, not unless you've decided to change the definition of what 'couple' means. Try Google, it's a big source of info, why don't you find me an instance where 'couple' means ten, good luck! Anything to get yourself out of this hole you've dug yourself though right?

Do you need a bigger shovel?

Looks good. We are signing some beautiful players. This is a Woody signing, no doubt. I can see Lindelöf posing with Blind for Calvin Klein underwear soon

Going to vigorously tweet "Announce Lindelöf" the MUFC Twitter account.

Much more ambitious option than Jose Fonte. Offers pace, aggressive attitude and many years of further development.

Mou got nose to fast, no bullshit defenders so also kudos to Ed for making the funds available in January if the deal already becoming reality.

I think Lindelof could potentially play quite a bit at right back, if/when we come up against more physical sides. Who knows, Mourinho could Ivanovic him.

From what I've heard, he's pretty comfortable on the ball, has decent pace and has experience at right back.

Someone did mention earlier on the thread, I think it was @devilish, that Moruinho does like to convert a centre back to right back. Whether it's Lindelof or not, remains to be seen, but he certainly does like a back four with height.

With say a back four of say, Shaw, Jones, Bailly and Lindelof, we have a back four all over 6ft. Add to that Smalling and Rojo.

I think you are wrong. Those lads are 18 and 19. Its around age 22 when we should start worrying about them having a chance.

Yes you have a point, but I don't see Mourinho bringing through any one from the ranks. I know he has his priorities, and youth development isn't one of them. You correctly say we shouldn't start worrying about U-23s until they reach 22, but even so they usually get a chance to taste some first team football in the league cup. This league cup campaign is the first one i've seen without at least one reserve player on the bench, let alone the matchday squad

I fecking hate watching youtube compilations of Centerbacks. So god damn boring

This is what I expect as well. He's Mou's new Ivanovic

He surely isn't planning on playing him at RB - we have such a lack of quality wingers that we need very attacking full backs. If we have a CB at RB we lose Valencia as basically out only outlet on the right wing.

Maybe in some games but we're also being linked with that attacking RB, aren't we? I'd imagine Lindelof will primarily be a CB.

In some ways it's difficult to predict what Mou will do here based on what he did before as he already said he's trying to play a different profile of football here. Not sure a CB at RB fits that profile.

Surprisingly poor in the air! Lose more than 40 % of the "duels" in Portugal. Will get battered in England. But great composure.

The ones trying to shoehorn him in at RB are just worried that Smalling is gonna get flogged. Lindelof can play on the left side of the defensive partnership, untill we get him only Rojo is comfortable there. That will mean we have 2 for each CB slot and one surplus.

Of course he is, a beautiful man

What about him does it for you ?

Given the conditions when he took over. I'm not surprised. At the end of the season, when he is more secure in the job, I expect it to change. This season his career has been on the line after the Chelsea debacle. So he will only turn to players he can trust and none risks like Rashford.

He's not coming to play at full back. Watching that video, he plays on the left hand side of the cbs. It'll be him and Bailly at the back.

Good. Get rid of Smalling, he can't even control a bloody football. Jones/Rojo have done well lately but wouldn't miss either if a decent offer came in.

I think in the summer we will get rid of one of Jones/Smalling.

Can't be surprised, we have become Shoehorn FC ii recent years. We'd even shoehorn a GK is given the opportunity.
