Veron!

Veron is good is as already proved he has a soul fit for United, the man got a tattoo of the great man CHE GUEVARA. not like some team mates who prefer spice girls

I thought last night in the second half was some of the best football he's played in a long time.
He settled in to the role of midfield general eventually.
With Keane out, quite possibly until christmas, if the FA choose to ban him we need Veron to take Keane's role. He needs to be the one to dictate the play.
I'm still not totally happy but last night was an improvement. I still want to see him get forward more. He also needs to be stronger on the ball, he loses out to often in challenges.
But, like i said, it was an improvement. Hopefully he can keep it up against Spurs, cause we'll need him

is that meant to be an arguement to back him up? i wouldnt care if he had a picture of BARRY MORE on his arse as long as he played well on the pitch for United.

Interestingly enough that actual famous picture of Che Guevara was painted or designed by an Irish man ! Kinda cool when you think about it :)

Veron did what he was meant to do as a midfielder (minus the tackling) but he has not added anything to the team. This loyalty crap is doing my head in. Yes, its great that SAF stands by his players but you think back a few years and fergie used to be ruthless, bad game=dropped and only Cantona used to survive. That ruthlesness has gone from fergie and I think its permeating its way through the team eg Giggs = too good to be dropped, although everyone here has had a pop at his performances so far this season. Bottom line is if the player is not playing to his potential then drop him and I bet you when he gets his chance again he'll be on top form (like the way SAF does it to Becks now nearly every season)

I just expect more from my team. I had the fun of the 80's(apart from the FA cups) and have really enjoyed the 90's but freshen up the fecking team before it really goes stale. Its time to let people know its not their God given right to play for Utd and to win everything.

C'mon Fergie, get ruthless again

He doesn't seem to mind doing it to Ole every chance he gets.

:(

Play Veron next to Butt and we could see the best from both of them. Veron needs to control the play and someone like Butt to clean up behind him. Give them a few games together and they will form a great partnership.

IMO whenever we play 442, we should only ever partner Keane-Scholes or Veron-Butt when they are all fit. These two partnerships are best suited to work!

Veron played reasonably well last night for the same reason he had succeeded in Italy- he was given soooo much time to play 3,4,5 touches with the ball.
He was proved rather useless with the pace of the PL, and ti doesn't take the best teams in the league to chase him in the middle of the park.
I'd keep him for Cardiff next August, when we play this season's runners-up in the CS ;)
