Now that's a teaser trailer. As a punisher feel to it ,so expecting it to be dark
Wonder what accent Tom hardy will mumble in this time so I can't understand a word he says.
Such a shame. Hardy was tailor made to be the next wolverine.
If you crop it and take away the Marvel scroll through in the beginning, and the logo at the end you would have no idea its for venom which is weird. As most teasers by Marvel give an indication even the origin story ones.
I’m not sure how much say Marvel have in it as it’s a Sony film. They must have bought the rights to it when they got Spider-Man like 2 decades ago. So I presume it might be a separate thing from the marvel movies we know or universe although there are Rumours Tom Holland can cameo in it as that was part of the deal on Marvel getting Spider-Man back.
I just don’t see how Tom Holland’s Spider-Man fits in that world as it looks quite dark and I do agree if it didn’t say it was for venom you wouldn’t know. Was a rubbish trailer. Although if Carnage is in it I’m all in.
He's a bit of an anti-hero.
Think a lot of it has to do with who the alien ooze inhabits.
I hope there's a monologue about concrete in it.

Yeah. That teaser is anti hype, especially with Deadpool & Cable trailer out there, which got it spot on. That marketing team needs a raise!

I thought Venom looks quite decent. And its nice that we actually get to see Venom in a Venom trailer.
Venom looks great and the voice is spot on.But the jury is still out with me whether the movie will be any good.

Why all the negative comments? I think it looks quite good. I mean, it’s a superhero movie so expectations are low but Tom Hardy is quality in every film he’s in, Riz Ahmed is a great actor too, the fight scene in the trailer is pretty damn good and Venom looks cool. What more do ye want?
Some of the dialogue sounds absolutely terrible but I imagine it'll be a decent enough film with Hardy and Ahmed in it.
Riz Ahmed has come a long way, happy for him but is Tom Hardy going to mumble his way through playing a journalist?
