Apologies if posted already. There are rumors flying around that Nistlerooy is being sought after by Real Madrid again, and with even crazier rumors that Ruud has demanded a transfer..? It makes sense that Real want a poacher but I figured it would be Klose.

1) The story (That he has refused to train) is true, i´m living in Hamburg.
2) Ruud´s attitude was already poor at Old Trafford.
3) Going back to Real Madrid.......Ruud is a idiot :wenger::lol:

He's not an idiot, Real Madrid need a striker, if he can move to them for 5 months instead of playing for Hamburg for 5 months, then he has a last chance to win the European Cup instead of squandering around in midtable in the Bundesliga. If the clubs could agree a deal I think he'd be an idiot to turn it down.

ruud loves madrid it seems. wanted to leave to go there, finally got his move, won a couple of leagues there whilst scoring a bucketload, got sold, but still wants to go back even for six months.

Different coach, and with Mourinho, Madrid are actually one of the contenders for the CL title.

When he left Madrid, he'd been injured for a few months and came back to Ronaldo and Higuain scoring lots of goals, Benzema waiting in line, and Raul as the first choice sub. He left to get playing time.

Now Raul's at Schalke, Higuain's out injured, and Benzema's still stood around looking confused.

A last big chance for him. It could be happening.

I thought Benzema had been doing alright this last couple of months?

If you look at Benzema playing you would easily understand that the man is absolutely over-rated by miles and miles. He is 100% sure to leave this summer unless something extremely radical happens to him. The way he's playing he's not better than John Hartson was in his prime. He cannot get passed players, cannot play on the wing, cannot score, cannot make smart runs. He's more or less just standing right outside the box waiting to get the ball. In best case scenarios he gets to fire off a shot with his right foot towards the right upper crossbar. So fecking predictable.

Officially they're looking for an "as well as" striker to cover for possible injuries.

With Benzema, it's his league form that's the problem - 1 goal this season and he basically disappears when Madrid are under pressure. He scored hattricks against Auxerre (CL dead game) and in the Levante 8-0 (Copa). So his figures look OK, but basically he hasn't scored, or done much else, except during the thrashings.

Mourinho says that Benzema's a great player and an unselfish striker, and that he's working much harder now, but that he lacks "hunger." He says that Ronaldo's always hungry - to train, to play, to win, to score.

Ruud's an interesting choice - I can see him as a Mourinho striker.

Yeah rumors were doing the rounds on Twitter as well last night.

He'd be brilliant at Madrid again imo. He's still been scoring a fair bit for Hamburg and his contract runs out in the summer. He's been considering retirement so a move to Madrid right now would be great.

The press view in Spain is that RvN's keen, but Hamburg aren't.

He left Real Madrid on a free, so Madrid seem to think Hamburg should be similarly generous. Not surprisingly, Hamburg aren't impressed.

Ruud is a bloody legend. If we signed him I'd bet my house on it he'd score 20 goals for us even at this age.

he is just a goal-machine, just incredible to mantain his goalscoring feat even at 34.....

I feel it would be a mistake to go back. He's really too old and its never a good idea to go back.

Nah, I can understand why Ruud wants to go back. Real have a decent chance of winning the UCL either this year or next year with Mourinho. Something Ruud has still not done despite his phenomenal scoring record. For a great forward like him I think its a chance to get the UCL medal. Even if he plays a bit part role but gets that elusive title I reckon it would be worth it in his eyes.

Was it Pellegrini who kicked him out in the first place or the board?

I've got no issue with Ruud wanting to go back to Madrid. The HSV is in a proper mess right now due to mismanagement and Ruud still has much ambition and drive in him. At least he's honest and doesn't hide his feelings.

However, I'm disappointed with what he said in the interview. He didn't only express a dream, he was almost threatening his current club. This is unacceptable behaviour.

well he did ask fergie 3 times to get out of united so it isn't anything new. it's just normal operating procedure for him.

It's reported by Spanish TV that Real have acquired RvN. Don't know how reliable it is.

They've offered Hamburg 2m to release him (his contract finishes in May) and the Spanish press think it's been accepted, but he played tonight so I guess the deal's not quite there yet.

"Keep watching the RM website" was the twitter post from one of the RMTV mob.

Is he cup-tied?

I can see him helping Real getting the Cope Del Rey and advance to the semis of the CL.

As for the league, Barca have all but won it.
