Valencia Player of the Year 23/24 Thread

I want to say Antony but Hojlund's aerial ability looks shite in the analysis videos I've watched. I'll go with AWB. Our right hand side can only go onwards and upwards, I suppose.

Help me out, I'm missing the link - you see Antony's success being linked to Hojlund's aerial prowess?

I hadn't thought of Antony as much of a crosser, and when he is he seems to prefer a low ball into the box instead of a looping one, no? Also Hojlund's great with his head in the box, from what I've seen. It's controlling and holding up aerial balls where he seems to struggle - flick ons and that sort of thing.

All the players I expect to do well wouldn't qualify for this, the likes of Martinez, Shaw, Cas, Bruno. I'd love if it could be Sancho or Antony or Hojlund now we're signing him. I'll go with Mount. I'm not expecting much in terms of goals or assists, but I think he'll play nearly every game and I think people will appreciate that his pressing offers us something that Eriksen couldn't. I also think Kobbie Mainoo will break into the squad, but don't think he'll play enough games to really qualify for this.

Yeah, I guess Mourinho opining he was the best right back in the world does not equate. Go figure
You’d take the word of that charlatan? Hey did you know the Earth is flat and that all governments are controlled by lizard people wearing human suits?

I've just picked Antony in the 5th round of my fantasy football draft, so I need it to be him.

Antonio Valencia will be this year's Valencia player of the year. The award to Valencia will be presented to Valencia by Valencia at a ceremony in Valencia.

Antonio Valencia.

Also I think Lindelof will step up this season when Varane inevitably gets injured. The combination of a year of ETH's coaching and playing with Varane, Martinez, Onana, etc. will force him to be more aggressive and pro-active, which will make him look a completely different player.
