Utd Kits 22/23

Both home and away have a very clean traditional look to them but they work perfectly. Proper set this season

It looked even worse on TV. The collar is really, really ugly. And the black stripes just don't fit at all.

I think its just this collar, it looks too big to me, stands out too much, and the way its worn with the top button done up players look like nuns or something.
Vast improvement on the 10/11 home kit whose collar made us look like slovenly drunks. Horrible shirt.

Yeah I agree on this part, with a bigger collar almost certainly needs to be undone.

That's probably how I'll wear it if I end up ordering an XXXL on TheGate™ , equating to approx a UK men's size L.

Make sure it doesnt come as an XXXL the collars will be like wings. Yep undone will probably look a lot better. I guess they must have been told to wear it done up.

One size up I've heard. Still a bit reluctant as most of the replica's I've seen from there have transfers that look a bit shiny, especially the names/numbers.

Actually interested who approves designs at club, does anyone know? Seems Fulham, Ajax etc have clearly refused Adidas pushing collars on shirts this year.

I work with graphic designers who often point out to me incongruent design vision which (technically) seem to not work. Personally really dislike shirt with ugly design on collar as I see it, added to Adidas 3 line and badge framing etc its all so messy. I'd prefer home kits to be clean and simple and elegant.

Apart from Leicester, Lyon, Argentina and Bayern away I think Adidas kits looks pony this year.

I prefer New Balance and Umbro as seem like better designers. Nike seem super generic, and Puma just embarrassing t-shirts.

Adidas deal is until 2025…. What manufacturers designs do others prefer?

Hoodie under the new kit for the presentation? Who came up with that?

Medium ugly kit by the way, too much going on. Looks better from a distance.

I would have liked a collar on this one too. It would give a 98/99 away vibe

People complaining of the collar may be too young to remember the beauty of watching Cantona popping up his collars during games. The ultimate legend and showman.

Much better than the mess that's the home kit. Would have been better without the shield around the badge. It's unnecessary.

Bit of a beaut. Not too mad on the home shirt though, don't really like the collar.

It's absurd isn't it. Even moreso considering they're in Australia not Antarctica. Kit looks good though. Simple and nice.

Much prefer the white and away kit.

Are the same differences applied between the authentic and standard kit compared to last year? i.e. tighter fit and different material on the logo etc?
