Here go:

Format is -

6 first round games
Then two best losers play for the last spot SF spot
Then SF as normal.

Also no blocks and we'll keep the normal snake.

Just saw Bastian go in a United draft and thought!?! Serves me right for not reading the opener, but I don't like the bolded. The pool should be the pool - it is what it is, Schweinsteiger was never "Schweinsteiger" here, and I have a hard time framing careers outside the club and reapplying them to United, especially when we know how below their own bar certain players were here.

I know I'm speaking after the fact, but it's [the rule] going to prove to be extremely distorting as this goes on as it opens the doors to a lot of very good players who were complete non-entities here.

pool would be too small + voters would still be pulled by a big name flop rather then average player that had a decent/good united career...

yes, still not over my lose against @Gio in pl draft where he had robben and veron(specially)!

I can understand from a thematic point of view but the pool isn't huge so I thought expanding to career peak would make the draft more interesting.

Tbh the peak is career one so I think it’s easy to differentiate. Obviously I picked him for his Bayern and Germany exploits and the pool is in sync with that.

the draft itself is from my understanding career peak of players that put on United shirt which also covers international exploits, rather than United career.

Tbh after researching a bit 12 drafters, especially in some positions the pool is close to non existent let alone having sort of average quality. And I’m talking about not only United sort of flops but that didn’t have a decent career anywhere.

In terms of depth probably it’s for 8 drafters max and that’s still compromising some positions.

if we’re voting based on United career than probably it should be in the OP and I’d be happy to repick based on that criteria.

The pool is enormous! It's the entire history of the club! :angel:

But I know I'm speaking after the fact and shouldn't really be doing that.

Should've raised this grievance before drafting started, and it serves me right for not reading the OP!
