Aren't people making too big a deal out of this? People are suggesting that if Romney got in it'd be the end of the world, when in reality, roughly half of America would have voted for him.

I couldn't understand it either. Obama is leading after 3% but it has been called for Romney. Someone has to help and clear it for me, please.

South Carolina is a deep red state. Those 3% are probably urban/college areas.
I guess it's 3% of real votes, when they actually call it based on exit poles.

It depends on which counties have reported. For instance, they may have had one major city who will obviously lean to Democrats, but there's not any real chance Obama takes the state on the full balance.

Now BBC are saying 56-40 in Obama's favour. This is the best scoring system ever, it makes absolutely no sense but huge swings go in "my" favour.
