It is impossible for him to prove his innocence - the calendars are obviously not conclusive proof- he actually said that himself during his statement.

The point of the beer thing is to say that while he likes a drink but that isn't enough to claim he wouldn't be so drunk he wouldn't remember the incident.

Like I said, anyone would be emotional in this situation. The world is watching while your reputation is being destroyed and this is an accusation that will be with him forever, whether he did it or not.
It's hard to have sympathy with a Republican as I am a political opposite and I hope he doesn't get confirmed, but I'm not going to assume his guilt because he is one either.

Indeed. It's a bizzare and stressful situation to be in, I have no idea how someone should react to it. Rambling anger seems as legitimate a response as any.
 
The fact that he keeps citing his accomplishments and good deeds as a response to questions that has nothing to do with it.

Tells me all I need to know about the slimy bastard.
 
The more he deflects and refuses to answer, the more guilty he looks.
 
Whether or not he's guilty, he's showing that he's not supreme court material. Can't answer a simple yes or no question.
