Us Open 2012

Right then, for me there are now one of two ways this match is going.

Murray in 4, or Djokovic in 5. If it goes 5, Djokoc*nt wins. If it doesn't, well obviously that means Murray.

Ffs it's not choking. Players can play bad points. According to some here Murray has choked Atleast ten tTimes in this match. Give it a rest.

Yes. Took the foot off the peddle. He did well not to get into any choking position at all KM.

3rd set is over. Totally gifting from Murray.

He's not gifted it away. Djokovic is playing with freedom now that he's got nothing to lose and he's the better player at the moment.

Djokovic is playing like he normally does. He's cut out the errors and serving a lot better. Murray switch off.

Gifting, choking.. pft. Djokovic totally upped his game in this set.

Yup. This happens in the tennis threads every time. The other player chokes, doesn't play worse just chokes.

Quick set that, Djokovic has finally turned up. If he wins the 4th I can't see it going any other way.

Ok a 4th set coming up Murray needs to regroup and concentrate again as these conditions are still getting to Djokovic as much as to Murray.

Its tough to keep up the level he had against a player of Djokovic's quality. Winning in straight sets was never going to happen. Novak was always going to play the better tennis at some point in the match.

Murray's level has dropped but that's to be expected. Question is can he get it back.

No, you choke when you are in a winning position. 2-0 up is a choking position. Murray is in a winning position. He choked badly on break points where simple shots would have won the point and ended up totally getting it wrong.

It's going to get worse for Murray, it's not going to get easier.

Choking for not winning in straight sets in a slam final. Of course...

What are you on about? Djokovic has started pinging the serves in, and finding the lines.

That is just one way of looking at it.

Choking can happen on point and in terms of sets. He's definitely choked away many break points.

I would argue that Murray also leaked more errors and switched off. The first Novak break (was effectively nerves), Murray could have broken back, but that was a choke.

Calm down lads. With his returning ability, Murray should get a few chances yet.

Nothing's gone right for Murray since I tuned in - so I'm switching to a Sky+ recording, I expect to see Murray celebrating when the recording has finished...

Interestingly, Novak is using the same tactics Federer used at Wimbledon. Coming to the net more often, and Murray, such a great passer of the ball, unable to find an answer. It's mainly as a result of losing the baseline battle though.
