Any news on Scholes' injury?

True, but he was barely tested. It was all United. Which is nice.

Put it this way, John and Larry coped with Roberts much better than Sol and Keown did!

Yeah, especially when you offer half the amount the selling clubs want.... (or is it just that it is United and they get greedy on us?)

Fergie just said he will be out for 2 weeks.

Well at the risk of incurring wrath from certain quarters, I have to say that although Seba had a decent enough game, there is no way I would leave Ole or Butt out of the side in order to fit him in. Even when Ole has a quiet game in other areas, he's always likely to score.
There should be times when we play five in the middle, but we need to be fluent in both formations, so I think we should always use 2 strikers at home. If only to give the partnership the chance to develop - the best pairing in Europe last season shouldn't be discarded.

He was average. But we're not an average team, which is why Keano, Scholes and Beckham were a lot better than him.

On paper. But the first day of the season is, more often than not, good for promoted sides.

Yes, so let's not get carried away.
Paul Parker just described them as the worst team he's ever seen at OT.

It wasn't clear, just a quick remark that he was out for 6 weeks. Resolves that mystery a bit. Ruud says the fans were shouting for Diego to take the pen, he discussed it with Keano and he said we need to make sure.
