Red Indian Chief Torn Rubber
Thus says Kemo
KAKA is the Bergkamp type of stirker with lightening pace, and better finishing. He can also play on either wing lkike Frolan. He would be the buy of the season if we got him imo.Thus sayeth the chief

Ricky or Ricardito. Kaká means the same in Brazil as well it's just they pick very silly ways to call people here.

Thanks Edu. That is exactly what I'm afraid of. People create this illusion in their minds that he will play one way or the other and then get pissed off when it doesn't work.
Kaká can obviously be moulded into other roles but it takes TIME to perform at the level you would expect from him when changing country, club and team dynamics (both yours and the opposition's).
He will be fantastic if he goes to the right places at the right time. Coming to United, at his age, as a third striker (assuming Forlan is 4th) during a very tight race for the title in a team that hasn't quite found itself would definitely be a feck up for both parties involved.

In Russian ‘kaka’ is a word that kids use instead of ‘shit’ or ‘rubbish’.

It could be worse. It could be Anelka. He probably wouldn't survive his unveiling at OT. A gooner, a dipper and liar.

Mads Timm plays the same role, has the same skills, and costs nothing.

He had his CL debut against Maccabi Haifa, as a sub, and has just moved back up to the reserves, where he was great, but he's still very young, but already physically well built. I would think that next season he will be pushing for games, like O'Shea did, and the season after that he may well become a semi-regular like O'Shea is this season.

Wish I fecking knew, last I heard about him was when he was sent off in a Scotland game. He's not been in the reserves, youth teams, or on the bench since!

Managed to find this, which says it was a broken bone in the foot, bit like Gary and Becks then, so I would think he'll be out for a while longer.

Haven't done the match commentary for a while, and had to rely on MatchTracker while on holiday myself - they do a pretty good job actually - I doubt I'll post as much as usual as the game should be riveting! But I'll try and offer some observations that MatchTracker might not make, as well as singing some uncensored songs.

His name is Luís Fabiano Clemente, called here by "Luís Fabiano";
He turned 22 yrs old today. (08/11/80);
He played for Ponte Preta (97-2000) where he had a very good Brazilian Championship. He was sold to Rennes/France (2000-2001) but had a problems with his coach, then loaned and finally bought by São Paulo (for only 3mil US$);
It's very likely that he will be the striker of the Brazilian Olympic Team in 2004. São Paulo F.C. intends to hold him at least until then;
He is really a very good player, (almost 0.70 goals per game, with more then 70 games) but he is still learning a lot. He used to get a lot of yellow and red cards early this year for arguing with ref;
The difference is that he is a very talented striker, still proving himself and Kaka is a rare player reconized as the best of a generation.

TKS. SPFC is short for São Paulo F.C. My favourite one. I'm always in the field watching the real thing. (The only team in the world, besides A.C. Milan, with three 2002 WC champions).
I adopted United as a second one right after they beat our rivals Palmeiras in the 99 Toyota Cup.
Any doubts about brazilian players, I'll be glad to answer.

Ah I understand. Well good to have you on board. I know nothing of São Paulo F.C., perhaps you could me a bit about them in the Football Forum?
