Tbf, none of those players were ones we had reason to believe we desperately needed until mid way through last season…. Pretty much everyone was fairly happy with our forward options this time last year. So failing to buy any of them bar Haaland - who is a potential generational talent, but didn’t want to come here - isn’t that weird. Especially as one is a still unproven teenager, one is already becoming a potential meme, and none of them wouldve been as important - then or now - as scouting literally any fecking midfielders.
