I'm not anti Scottish, I just wanted Moyes out.
Manchester United and Portsmouth are both tracking Serbia star Milos Krasic.

The 24-year-old is currently with Russian giants CSKA Moscow - but he is attracting major interest from around Europe after a string of highly impressive performances.

The right-winger moved to Russia in 2004 after they snapped him up from Vojvodina - where he was already captain.

He has since become an integral part of the CSKA set-up and one of the most highly-rated forwards in the Russian league.

United are well versed with the Russian scene having signed, coincidentally, Krasic's international team-mate Nemanja Vidic from Spartak Moscow.

Now Krasic is catching the attention, and both United and Pompey are understood to have watched him in midweek.

The scouts were dispatched to Vienna to catch Serbia's World Cup qualifier against Austria and they will have surely been impressed as Krasic turned in a memorable display as he scored the opener in a 3-1 win.

Paris Saint Germain, Hamburg, Werder Bremen and Porto are already hot on Krasic's trail and CSKA are understood to be looking for close to £8million for the player who still has three years left on his contract in the Russian capital.

CSKA are anxious for Krasic to stay and will look to offer him fresh terms before the transfer window opens in January - if not it seems the Serb flyer could spark a transfer scramble, and whether United or Pompey will be amongst the bidders remains to be seen.

Don't think he is a starter for a club like United. Good player though.

So what the last paragraph says is that we may not at all be interested?

"United and Pompey have been watching him put in some impressive displays, but they may or may not bid for him come January, the bidders may be some completely other clubs"

:wenger:

Nonsense. I could see him starting for United. I know it's only half time but I think he's looked pretty fecking lively for CSKA. Could definitely see him in a United shirt

I know a lot of people seemed to think he was rubbish in the other thread but I was quite impressed by him. Seemed to have a lot of skill on the ball. Not sure about his end product though.

Don't think we need another winger who isn't the finished article yet.

He looked an excellent dribbler, but the end product wasn't fantastic. Though that could have a bit to do with their rather blunt attack.

He gets a lot of assists believe me. Last night I thought he wasn't that great but he was still their biggest threat. CSKA were dogshit IMO, they just didn't service their best players at all.

I thought he had ample natural ability on display yesterday evening. He has seriously quick feet. I always admire players who can beat a man without the Ronaldo / Nani step overs. Messi is a perfect example of this. From what I can see with Messi he's just twice as quick as the defender for the most part.

Who knows what may become of Krasic, but in a stronger team with the right coaching he could well become something special. He also seemed to play very central for CSKA. Now I'm no tactician so maybe I'm off on that one, but if he's as central as I saw he was he could be well utilised in our midfield.

Actually one of his criticisms in the past was that he was too kick and run. I said it before he is very direct, he will drive towards goal and look for a shot/cross. His dribbling has really come on the last two years. Krasic was a real talent in the youth teams and now he is fulfilling his potential - he just needs to move from Russia now.

Indeed, he loves to cut in, he has made a lot of assists for CSKA through the middle, I too believe he could be special with the right coaching. He was IMO the best player for Serbia during the WCQ campaign btw.

He's been shite in the past and I cant be bothered to load the demo and find out if he still is

Woah I'm breaking personal records here with the amount of transfer forum posts  I'm getting dizzy with the excitement

He really impressed me with his tracking back for Serbia the first time I saw him. He went back as much as I've seen Park or Valencia do it. However, playing for CSKA against Besiktas he didnt track back nearly as much. Against us he tracked back a bit. So clearly when he's told to do it, he will do it well but I think CSKA want him as far up the pitch as possible.

That's actually quite a decent video. Some of his goals are pretty spectacular. No doubting his speed and dribbling ability.

Dejan Savicevic said that he would like for him to go to Milan, as he did. He says he can pick any league he wants to and that he needs to play at the highest levels now.

I think there was some reporting about a month ago that he was Milan bound. Would be good business for Milan to buy him. Impressive player.

Krasic looked a very good talent v United, and has generally caught the eye whenever CSKA have featured in european competition.. but I can't see us signing him when we already have Valencia.. and Ljajic/Obertan pushing for the right-wing slot in the future.

If he's looking to play at the highest level why would he be looking to play in the Italian league ? Surely either La Liga or the Premiership I would have thought

Tore us apart tonight, was given loads of space on the right and he really used it well. Fantastic goal for him as well, good to see him stay on his feet.

Quality winger, ffs better than Nani if you ask me.

Their keeper was a class act too.

He did, in the times he got the ball. Far too often he doesn't. No doubt in my mind he could do a job for any of the top clubs. Imagine someone picking him out first time on the wings and letting him run at goal.

Was quiet in the second half, CSKA are shit though and had nothing of note after the third.

I still don't rate Akinfeev, his kicking under pressure wasn't amazing and he rarely comes out for crosses, quality shot stopper though.

As for Krasic, looks a real good player..but do we have room for him?
