25/5/2012: AC Milan are braced for bids for Kevin-Prince Boateng, according to Corriere dello Sport, with Real Madrid and United reported to be admirers. It's claimed the Rossoneri will attempt to tie the former Spurs and Portsmouth ace to a new deal with Sir Alex a fan of the player and interested in fielding him behind Wayne Rooney.

Who needs Hazard or Kagawa?

Just the rumour mill going into overdrive.

Won't happen.

I'll happily bet someone £100 that we don't sign him.

He's decent but both Kagawa and Hazard are better than him and have the potential to be world class while he won't get much better. He's a Spurs reject.

I remember reading quotes from him saying that once he had gotten to spurs he thought he had made it would go out partying. But once he got dropped and went to portsmouth he had a hard look at himself and buckled down and started working hard.

He definitely seems to have the right attitude now, and he could provide a lot to our team depending on how we use him.

We're just chucked in as an extra name to make the story read more widely. Pretty standard stuff

How did he even happen.

14 Appearances at Spurs, moved to Dortmund on loan. Shipped out to Portsmouth and when they went broke..... AC Milan bought him.

His National Team History is funny as well:

Code:
2001–2002 Germany U15 4 (1)
2002–2003 Germany U16 10 (3)
2003–2004 Germany U17 10 (1)
2004–2005 Germany U19 9 (4)
2005–2006 Germany U20 2 (0)
2006–2007 Germany U21 6 (0)
2010–2011 Ghana 9 (1)

Been very impressive in the CL games I've seen him in.

Big, strong and quick. A good athlete. Not a bad player at all.

Too many tattoos and a stupid haircut. No thanks

I quite like Kevin Prince Boateng, I watched a fair bit of Milan last season and he was their best offensive player behind Ibra, imo.

He has the athleticism to be a box-to-box midfielder, he's strong defensively but he's too good with the ball to stay back and screen the defense.

I'd be pleased if we sign him, Milan would be foolish to let him go cheap. This sound like pure rumor, but he's an actual central midfielder so it makes sense. I'd love to see a 3 man midfield with Boateng, Kagawa and Hazard.

Of course that's a muppety thought.

I'm guessing we'd have to bring Redondo and Makelele out of retirement to play on the wings?!

And is now a key-member of a much better AC Milan side. What a stupid point.

Obviously a rumour spread by his agent as he's negociating a new contract with milan!

I now like this player, although I hated him while he was in the Premier League. To me, he seemed very arrogant and that he overrated his own ability. And his performances certainly did not warrant this.

But I thought he was outstanding in the World Cup, and he has been excellent at Milan.

He's a fantastic Michael Jackson impersonator. There's a YouTube clip floating around somewhere.

?

Kagawa and Hazard are both attacking midfielders, Boateng is a central midfielder, pretty much like the Barca set up of Xavi and Iniesta with Busquets.

But I was also joking, thus the , I don't think we'll see that set up.

Whenever we get linked with a player, my admiration of him goes up 300%. I just hoped we arent linked with any of Liverpool's dross or my head will explode.

I shudder to think of him in a Utd shirt.

 pull the other one! Boateng is a brilliant player and would be ideal for our midfield. Either you haven't watched him or you don't have a clue. Not even comparable to Hazard or Kagawa and he's better than Kagawa for me. Jesus Christ. I could see why us or Madrid would want him, a box to box midfielder is what both teams need.

Oh no! You're way off the mark here, we all know that just because he used to play for Portsmouth, he can't be any good!

Am i wrong in feeling massively underwhelmed by this? Granted I haven't watched an awful lot of Italian football of late, and probably haven't seen too much of this guy in recent years, but he never stood out as anything more than average to me when he was at Spurs or Portsmouth.

I'm happy to be wrong if people have seen more of him to judge better, i've just don't see it.

cracking player, amazing goals and good physicality. I had been hoping he was available for months now. But iwouldnt be too gutted if kawaga and hazard happens instead
