Under 21 Euros 2019

What is with Madrid CB's and mad challenges? Hierro, Pepe and Ramos looking and Vallejo and nodding in agreement at that tackle.

Fabian Ruiz is class.

If pogba did go I’d love him to replace him.

Our boys have taken much more control, but the way this is going we'll need two more hours to score

The ref is pretty terrible isn't he? And not just because he didn't send off Vallejo. The goal kick that should've been a corner and 2-3 defensive fouls from Germany he didn't spot come to mind.

Germany are very effective in getting in behind Spain's fullbacks, but the following crosses are way too random.

Nice, good to hear. Always thought he was class.
He *looks* class. He's not. He's another kovacic unfortunately.

But maybe i'm just a pessimist and he realizes his potential

Best player of the tournament comes out to a standing ovation

Oh well. Leaving aside the Vallejo kick it was an even-ish game, but Spain is more talented in attack and was more clever at the back.

Gonna be interesting to see which older players will be selected for the olympic team. Some people suggested Boateng, Hummels and Müller which would be hilarious.

How many Barsa players are on this Spain team? Had a hard time placing any, but then again I’m not the most informed when it comes to young players in La Liga.

None.

Alena was in pre tournament squad but cut from it. Real Sociedad have most with three.

How did Dani Olmo end up at Dinamo Zagreb out of interest?

Didn't realise Rafa Mir was the guy Wolves signed in January 2018 aswell. He was too raw for championship but might do better if they give him a few games now.

Found an interview with his manager who said that he knew about Olmo since he was 13 years old since he organised Barcelona camp in Zagreb where he met Dani father. He then asked them to come that summer for a vacation and they did, had a good time and Dani said he would come to Dinamo one day, but more jokingly than serious. 2 and a half years later he didn't want to sign new contract with Barcelona where he was captain of the youth side and their best scorer, and Barcelona had to fight off United and several other clubs who wanted him. His father sat with manager and Dinamo Zagreb director who sold Dani idea of being club project where he would get everything he needs to become serious player one day. Dani himself knew about the club and their history of making good young players he and opted to sign for Dinamo despite being able to choose from pool of great names.

Was eased into first team and now is their best player and best player in the league last 2 years. He's off this summer, we'll see where and for how much :D

Spain have a lot of good midfielders for sure, it's a shame than we don't have any good striker in this generation either, I miss Torres and Villa :(
