Not sure about that booking, he only got given it cause the other lad decided to scream.
No one is getting him the ball. Midfield needs to do a better job of controlling the match.
Just checked Ben Pearson's early season form. He's had 4 yellows and 1 red in his first 4 games!

If Kenyon was fit id have him as a leftback, move Tanner to the right wing, Indy to the left and Barlow to CM.

Just a bit. To be honest we haven't looked at team in any of CYL games we have played as far back as I can remember. Yes its a makeshift age group for us but doesn't seem to hurt other English sides. IMO the coaching for these tournament by us is poor.
They look stronger, faster and more organised than us. We have no control in central midfield at all.
It's not that makeshift, to be honest. The majority of these lads have played with each other several times.
In my opinion, Butt should be in a non coaching role.
Our strikers spend too many spells completely out of the game. It's happened with Burkhart at U18 level and Bohui today.
Need to get the ball to Gomes more. His composure and technique allows the team to build attacks. Other attackers have been more susceptible to passing it back, losing the ball, or making bad passes.
Even though they do have some good players nobody will convince me Basel is more talented 11 v11, yet to someone watching who knows no previous about the teams they look more talented.

A midfield of Sang and Hamilton never gonna work. It's like playing Jones and Fellani as midfield two.
That's harsh on Hamilton. He tries to play forward. Some decent moments between himself, Gomes and Boonen when did get a foothold.
Hamilton's ankle seems to be fecked.
Is Sang out of position? He's looked poor so far.
Yes, he's a defender by trade. He's done well in the air and broke up one or two moves on the edge of our box, but is limited in midfield.
I understand Butt's importance to the culture of the club but tbh, I'd prefer an accomplish youth coach at the club like McKenna to manage this team. We've got some of the most talented youth midfielders in Europe playing in this team yet they do not know how to build the play or sustain possession.
