UEFA Champions League Round of 16 - 4/3/25 - 12/3/25

Horrible from Molina, both teams played to avoid such stuff and Molina decided to be special

As a neutral watching who's accustomed to seeing a shambolic United team this is comfortable for me.

Your defence has restricted ATM to needing an individual to produce a piece of magic to score. ATM have threat but little penetration.
Real fans is the kid that leaves the test scared shitless of getting an F when they are getting an A.

Good result for Real, more without Jude and with Kiki subpar. Grizzie must wake up next match. Neither wanted to risk the qualification in just one match

Roll on Sunday, Utd will bring them down to Earth …they won’t score more than 5 against us

This does make me optimistic about our chances to not concede the worst defeat of the round. Though Arsenal should score another 4 to be sure.
Good news everyone! Inter are in the midst of an injury crisis and might have to play a CB at LWB
Feel sorry for whoever is playing Arsenal next
Why they just got all their goals out of the way tonight. They won't score for their next 4 games now

Real fans is the kid that leaves the test scared shitless of getting an F when they are getting an A.

Accurate analogy, pending a mistake I couldn't see Madrid losing that game under any other circumstance.

He's a 29 year old journeyman with two good goal scoring seasons in his career.
He, like many other strikers, didn’t reach his potential until the latter part of his twenties. And two good goal scoring seasons? I guess he didn’t have a good goal scoring season when he scored 24 league goals in Turkey.

I concede he doesn’t fit with United’s new strategy of only buying young players, but he’s tailor made for the PL and would probably be right up there with strikers like Isak.

Mbappe played well for like a month and has since reverted back.

And two good goal scoring seasons? I guess he didn’t have a good goal scoring season when he scored 24 league goals in Turkey.
He did. 19/20 in Turkey (24 goals) and 23/24 La Liga (23 goals) are the two good seasons he had. In all other league seasons he scored at best 13 goals.

Mbappe played well for like a month and has since reverted back.

More than a month and even not at his best he still does his numbers, today he struggled, yet Real won, so it's good news and a chance to revert his performance with already half foot in next stage, way better than having to revert a result too.

Hákon Arnar Haraldsson, 21 year old Icelandic attacking midfielder, with another man of the match performance in the CL. Away at Dortmund and away at Liverpool.

Arsenal had 8 shots on target and scored with 7

You gotta be embarrassed as a keeper... :smirk:

Is he not currently having a good goal scoring season?
9 goals so far in 23 matches? That's shaping up for around 13 goals again, maybe one or two more. That's nothing special in my opinion and far below his two good seasons.

Good news everyone! Inter are in the midst of an injury crisis and might have to play a CB at LWB
That's amazing. As Ueda and Moder are fit to return we only miss 11 players for tomorrow. We can even field 1 actual midfielder!

@padr81 why did Alvarez leave City? Seemed like he was a really good player for you and he looks great at Atletico. Was that him pushing for that?
He didn't want to be on the bench and we had PSR to meet. In hindsight £90m was maybe a little too cheap. Especially given we've had to go for Marmoush to fill the hole he left.

Arsenal score 7 and my two Arsenal players in my Champions League fantasy neither score or get an assist.

Should Arsenal just concentrate on the CL now? Rest players in the league ahead of CL games.
