U23s: Southampton vs Manchester United

I read earlier today that the players we're looking to offload or loan out won't be included, so assume it'll be a similar team to last time out, so no Will Keane, Blackett, Pereira etc.

Demi again on the bench...
ohh well, at least Harrop and Kehinde are playing:drool:

As much as the first team gives me a Buzz when I watch the line-ups.....the reserve-team has the exact opposite effect. It is a really boring line-up.

I get what you mean, I'll be watching Tuanzebe and Poole as much as anyone else.

Seems like what was said on here about Mitchell's fitness is a real issue, as he's surely done enough performance-wise to start. It's a shame.

The U23 team always seems to be devoid of fast tricky wingers. It always seems to me that their strength lies in the defence. I am not too sure if I will watch this.

Laughed that Mr Quelch is the ref.
Old gits like me will remember him as Billy Bunter's form teacher.
Yellow cards will be replaced by 50 lines and Red cards will draw 6 of the best.

I usually love watching the U21 - but with this team it's almost "ah...should I even be bothered ?"

There are players who are good enough - but as a team, they are not good enough to play at this level

It is a real come down from some of the teams in the past few years.

There are players who aren't good enough, there are players who are too young and there are players who are playing in a wrong position. The result of all that can't be good. And the situation with the striker is just stupid. We have had this problem for years....
