Hoping Januzaj starts and Daehli gets some game time too, though unlikely with all the regulars back from Galatasaray.

How is the situation now - will we go through if we end third ?

No matter where we finish we'll still have a lot more football to play, everyone 'goes through'.

So unless we lose big and Southampton win big in their final game - we will end 3rd and qualify to the elite group

Nah scratch my last one - we need to lose by minimum 3 goals in order not to qualify as 3rd or better

The next two after today will be very difficult, away to Southampton on the 3rd ,who drew with us at home, and away to Villa on the 10th, who beat us at home.

There's a fair chance we won't make the elite stage, so the players should be well up for the last three games. A win today would go a long way to putting into the elite stage.

Johnstone, Veseli, Thorpe, Fornasier, Vermijl, Tunnicliffe, Cole, Petrucci, Bebe, Lawrence, Macheda

Bench: Sutherland, James, McCullough, Ekangamene, Henriquez

Good to see Petrucci back, should help the midfield control possession better than they have been.

I'd imagine Januzaj and the other 18s are now being saved for the FAYC.

I looked at the current standings and thought I might see the much heralded Manchester City Elite Development Warriors at the top of one of the groups - couldn't seem to see them....guess they must not stoop to this level and are contesting some important interplanetary league instead

According to Twitter Charni is now starting instead of Lawrence.

Worst piece of defending I have ever seen...what were they thinking

Horrible defending and Johnstone beaten from distance for the 4th or 5th game in a row. None of them have been blunders but he can be a little bit slow to get down.

Oof, Tunners hits the post when he really should have scored.

Best chance so far. Still 1-0.
