U21s: United vs. Spurs

A lot of those playing need to go out on loan and make room for promising youngsters beneath them to get game time.

Wootton, Brady, Macheda and King in particular, probably Tunnicliffe also.

Thorpe, Cole, Lingard on bench and Blackett, Lawrence, Mcullogch, Barmby, Hendrie, Charnii Ekang. and Januzaj all left out tonight.

To confirm, Angelo Henriquez is NOT in tonight's line-up despite some incorrect tweets on here - he will be in the stands watching. #mufc

You are so correct about this, not good for these players not to play.

It'll be real interesting to see what Büttner's all about.

Agreed. Still time yet, I suppose.

I can't see a future here for Macheda, to be honest. You'd also think that Wootton mustn't be held in the highest regard either if we're not playing him ahead of Carrick. King and Tunnicliffe just need games in a competitive league at this point however you rate their chances.

Billy the Kid looking happy and walking down stairs without any probs.

Fletcher, just moved up in my list of heroes again.

Here's hoping Powell does better than in his previous outings where I have been very underwhelmed by him.

Remember though he is only 18, even though he looks about 25.

Holy shit...Buttner does stepovers. Star in the making.

Ha, wasn't being entirely serious, but yeah that move after that was quality. De Laet-esque. :D

There you go mate

"Kiko, Kiko, Now!"

Great play from King. What pace...

Fletch has been ok, some nice bits of play, some not so nice.

He does look very slow to me though. Cant remember if he was quicker before his injuries.

Buttner has defended well, never out of position and got his head on a few crosses to clear. But we've only seen him involved in the attack a couple of times

Ht 1-0.

I thought we were poor for large parts of that half, yet ripped them open with pace on a few occasions and should of scored at least another.
