U21s: United vs Liverpool

I didn't pay for the Man City U21 game, but from the sounds of it that was similar to this. We've been much the better team but just can't convert chances and then concede soft ones at the other end. Very similar story to the first team, I suppose.

Tyler Morton should not being playing in PL2. He's an England U21 interantional, one of the best midfielders in the Championship last season.

Ah sorry - I thought you meant Dermot Mee :)

United have all the possession in the world but have failed to create anything of note since the goal.

0-1

Doesn’t feel like we got what we deserved. Then again if you fail to finish your chances and give the opponent a free goal, this is the only possible outcome.

I attended the City game United totally dominant first half and could have gone in 2-0 up, second half they were second best but with better end product should have been out of sight. Again today with a little more clinical finishing or better final ball would have won.

What I find interesting is us dominating possession especially against City first half, I wonder if summer appointments in hierarchy influencing a new playing identity?

City and Liverpool currently first and second in league, so we are clearly a good side and should be thereabouts at the end of the season with this new format.
