U21s: United vs. Bolton

It's hard to find words for Varela's positioning and defensive play - it has been really awful

Well done Keane, back where he belongs.

Was chuffed just seeing Will Keane back and playing. Scoring a goal is the cherry on top.

It took me a while to see what the fuss is about with Thorpe but in the last few months I've realised just how good he is. I used to rate Keane as the better prospect out of the 2 but I think Thorpe may have a better chance here. He's got so much composure.

who scored the second goal?

Lingard, assisted by Blackett.

And just after I post that Thorpe comes in with a headed goal from a well taken free kick from Januzaj.

That looked a penalty to me, how did we not get a penalty.

Positioning may need some work but Varela looks alright I think. Good on the ball and gets stuck in. Some similarities to early Rafael.

And just to reiterate what I've already said, Januzaj has one of the best set piece deliveries at the club. Perfect delivery.

Surprised Jesse hasn't gone out on loan.
Had a great pre season.

Definitely a pen. Referees across the board, are finding this simulation thing impossible to govern correctly.

fecking brilliant from Lingard there. 4-1.

Someone needs to tell this Jackson kid that the Jackson 5 finished a long time ago.
