U21s: United vs. Arsenal

Decent half so far. Lingard, Januzaj and Powell has been our best players. Akpom and Esfield(I think) for Arsenal.

Decent half of football that. Hard to play football on a half wet beach with your boots on. Passing from our front players has been good regardless. Lingard, Powell & Januzaj our best players. Amos and Tunnicliffe have been shit.

Paddy is drunk.

Tunnicliffe has done very well defensively but been poor on the ball.

We see Thorpe as a CM these days or is this some sort of development thingy ? Weird.

Also, again Mcginty came on ahead of Blackett.

We've been the better side and played the better passing football but two defensive errors have kept them in it. No real threat from them apart from that.

Powell, Januzaj and Lingard have been the best players on the pitch so far, although Akpom looks decent in front of goal.

Mcginty coming on ahead of Blackett was a bit disappointing. Maybe slightly better defensively but nowhere near as good on the ball.

Fornasier ? What do people make of him ?

Was a good amount of fuss when we signed him from Lazio, but don't see what it was about.

Akpom is highly thought of by Wenger, got named in a Champions League squad recently at 17

For a midfielder his passing has been horrendous.

All our strikers on loan, Cev? Is Lawrence injured?

Mixed bag, as per. Played a couple of beauties for the second goal and the move which ended up hitting the bar.

Haha that was great from Lingard up against 3 players.

Load of nutjobs on the pitch at the moment. Quality from Lingard just then.

So my stream just stopped working. Would appreciate if someone sent me a link.

The Irish lad for Le Arse has some left foot. Who was the last Irish player to play for the gunners?

He was good on his loan to Posh last season, wasn't he? I think I read some good reports on him. Surprised that he did not go out on loan this season. I don't think he is going to make it here but can turn out to be a decent player for a championship/lower PL club.

Probably a red that. Amos got nowhere near the ball and took the player out with his elbow.

Arsenal are soft cnuts right through the club it seems.

Read that Reading wanted him ?

There was a lot of interest in taking him on loan this season.

Think he should've been off. But the refs are generally lenient in this level unless it's a leg breaker.

Was it the pitch? Looked like the ball held up after the bounce.
Or just really bad judgement ?

Seriously, Johnston is better than Amos already.

Worth pointing out this has Amos's first match in a long time IIRC. The pitch has been horrible, so let's calm down in slating him.

Januzaj has been special in this second half.
