Januzaj has a knee injury apparently. Hopefully we get to see Lawrence, Mculloch, Charni and maybe a cameo appearance from Daehli.

How did you find that out? Wondered where he had gone.

Parreira didn't feature on saturday, perhaps with a view to tonight? I think Henriquez will start up top and Macheda will move out wide into Lingards place.

Regarding Januzaj I saw it on twitter.

Heard nothing about Perreira but I suspect he was missing Saturday because he was probably away with Belgium.

I don't think he will be involved in u21s much at all this year, lots of players ahead of him currently, same with most of the current u18s. He is only 16 after all. Pearson, Barmby, Rothwell, Daehli, Januzaj are the ones who should be getting reserve team experience by the end of the season.

I saw an interview with Paul McGuinness recently on mutv where he talked about how there is a big group currently in the u21s, so what they have done is divided it into 2 squads, a reserve 'A' team and 'B' team if you like. The idea is to get players in the 'B' to play for a place in the 'A' squad. The 'B' team matches are usually behind closed doors. As players get loaned out further on into the season the squad will be trimmed down.

Incidentally some of the people who attended the 'B' matches were saying how poor Bebe was even in these games and that is why I wasn't surprised when he didn't make the League cup squad the other night.

Møller Dæhli looks too good for that level. He's dazzling.

I really hope he can kick on, what a talent.

United: Johnstone, Vermijl, Veselli, Fornasier, Brady, Thorpe, Petrucci, Ekangamene, Cole, Macheda, King

Subs: Blackett, Gollini, Henriquez, James, Hendrie

Wouldn't mind a stream pls

Is Thorpe still the captain of the reserves? A surprise he didn't get a look-in for the senior team when Wootton and M.Keane are included ahead of him

Johnstone
Cole Thorpe Fornasier Veseli
Petrucci Brady Ekangamene
Macheda Henriquez King

edit: No Vermijl, Henriquez in

Was quite looking forward to seeing Cole in midfield though. Guess he'll take Vermijl's place now.

Full-back, winger in a 4-4-2, cm. That's where I've seen him. Not up front.

I don't think I've seen him yet, good to know. His official profile says he's a central midfielder, but not surprised to hear he's played a lot of other positions for our reserve team. That's so like us.

I wish Joyce would encourage us to play out from the back. Johnstone just keeps lumping forward.

This hasn't been a very good game.Sloppy passing all around. We haven't been able to produce anything for the front 3 yet.

Joyce has lost the plot. ;)
