joel pereira has a career ahead of him... romero doesn't. would rather see him, otherwise it's a good line up.

Building match rhythm to step in, on form, immediately into a first team opening comes at the expense of that. Hence why McNair, Verla, Pereira and Januzaj are all straight in.

Forgot about my dislike for Adnan playing on the left wing.

edit: Looks like the graphic is wrong and he's on the right wing.

Slowish but promising start. Pereira and Januzaj will both be keen to show how far beyond this level they are. A few others too, no doubt.

With that team there is no excuse for not winning. Quite possibly the strongest U21 side I have seen from us for a long time.

hope A.P. is okay there... also, adnan's switched to nike boots? i thought he had a big contract with New Balance...

Not sure why Pereia hasn't had a first team chance....

Didn't realize Love was back from his loan spell at Wigan.. I believe he did well, hopefully we find him another loan before the window closes

Does Pereira ever play in centre midfield? He reminds me of Scholes sometimes.

Also that was an excellent second goal. Lovely cross and header.

Holy feck farts, the lads are up for it tonight!

I know there are quite a few guys knowledgeable guys here with youth, what do you all think about their involvements in the Europa League?

That was just beautiful from Pereira.

They honestly play better football. The movement and quick passing to feet is really different from how the first team play.

it's completely different... even small things like throw-ins... they're fast and always moving forward. it's a faster gear than the senior team.

In their current form - Will Keane and Perreira should play in our first team right now

watching the U21's a hundred times more enjoyable than the senior team.
Most definitely. It makes sense though; the likes of Andreas and Januzaj are clearly above this level.
