joel pereira has a career ahead of him... romero doesn't. would rather see him, otherwise it's a good line up.
Building match rhythm to step in, on form, immediately into a first team opening comes at the expense of that. Hence why McNair, Verla, Pereira and Januzaj are all straight in.

Some quality touches by Adnan, Andreas and Will already. Would have been some goal by Will there.
Slowish but promising start. Pereira and Januzaj will both be keen to show how far beyond this level they are. A few others too, no doubt.
With that team there is no excuse for not winning. Quite possibly the strongest U21 side I have seen from us for a long time.

They honestly play better football. The movement and quick passing to feet is really different from how the first team play.
